Overall, this is a great place to stay for relaxation in the hot tub. The check-in process is great when you can just drive straight to your room. The only issue we had was that the previous guest didn't report the broken TV, so we went without it for the night. But we were only there for the mineral hot tub, so we didn't miss the TV.

A colander and a large salad bowl would be nice.

Please tell Louise that her recomendation for the White Cross Clinic was perfect. I saw the nurse and Dr within 30 minutes and got the meds I needed and got cured overnight.

We love staying at Parakai motel. The big draw card is the private geothermal hot pool in our room.

Room 1a was absolut terrible, no shower as described, no air condition as described, no washbasin. I could not slep until 1 am, because it was so loud from other guest. Room was aprox. 2.7m wide

There was a cockroach inside the cupboard under the sink. We called the landline to ask for an insect spray but since there was no staff in the afternoon, they cannot provide one until the next day. So, we chose to buy an insect spray ourselves. There was no hair dryer. Some fixture need refurbishment like the bathroom vanity. Overall, it was a good stay. The staff in the morning where friendly.

We had a wedding to go to in the local area - location perfect, staff excellent and we’re able to help with an earlier check in due to wedding timing. It is an older property but was perfect for our stay.

The property met our requirements. Disappointed no one there to let us in as our UK mobile wouldn't connect. Thanks to another guest help we got through to get code to accommodation and gate.

Very rundown, not too clean. Some of us got locked out due to a malfunctioning door and couldn't get in until the managers arrived and dismantled it. We spent the night with paper stuffed in the hole in the door.

Motel staff were all very friendly, 10/10 for the motel cat Winston is super friendly!! It’s a nice place for a getaway however on the cleanliness side I had to give a low rating due to the poor quality of cleanliness, spiders and webs along with other crawlies all around the place, stains on the walls that looked very unpleasant. With a proper clean and upgrade I’m sure this place will be a seller!!!

Great space and loved the spa! A quick walk to shops and the playground and pools
