Letter to Turks and Caicos Resort [Your Name] [Your Address] [City, State, ZIP Code] [Email Address] [Phone Number] [Date: July 24, 2025] [Hotel Name] [Hotel Address] [City, Turks and Caicos] Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to formally demand a full refund for my recent stay at your resort from [insert dates of stay]. My experience was marred by multiple unacceptable issues that significantly impacted the quality of my stay, and I am deeply disappointed by the lack of adequate response from your staff. On the second day of my four-day stay, brown water was coming from the bathroom sink, shower, and bathtub. I immediately contacted the front desk to report the issue, but I was not provided with an estimated time for resolution, an apology, or an offer to relocate to another room. This issue persisted for 24 hours, severely limiting my ability to use essential facilities and compromising the hygiene of my stay. On the third day, a strong sewage odor permeated my room, creating an unpleasant and unsanitary environment. I again contacted the front desk, and once more, I received no apology or estimated time for resolution. While the issue was eventually resolved later that night, the smell lingered until the morning of my final day, further diminishing my experience. Additionally, I encountered unprofessional behavior from a member of your staff. On the third day, I inquired at the front desk about the availability of a beach attendant to assist with finding a beach chair.

Awesome small scale property with great beach access and walkable to so many restaurants and shops. Grocery is a short walk and a great option to stock the condo. Tons to do or a great place to just relax. We never had issues finding plenty of beach or pool chairs any time of the day. The whole family agrees - we would go back in a heartbeat!

property was great when it came to great restaurants around the area, beach was fantastic. The unit where we stayed checked all the boxes for a couple with 3 kids but the bed, while had great pillows and comfortable matrass, kept making noise, the cleaning people did an ok job on cleaning (shower tile was not cleaned properly) but I was able to overlook that, because property had a fully packed kitchen and even in the event one wanted to go to the store, they could do that by using the rolled cart to transport the produce without any issues. Unit also had a washer and dryer that came in handy, detergent, dishwashing soap, even a sponge. Overall, we had a great experience.

Perfectly located in the center of Grace Bay, Villa Renaissance checked all the boxes for us. Like many "resorts" there, Villa Renaissance condos are privately owned. Ours was a two bedroom with a garden view (Unit 604). The unit was exceptionally clean with staff coming everyday to keep it that way. Tons of towels, well equipped kitchen, coffee on hand, etc. made it incredibly convenient. Beds were very comfortable with great pillows. Good closet space with even robes being supplied. Bath was ample and had a full tub and a separate shower, but if you used both bedrooms, it might be a bottleneck given the one bathroom. TV had all the channels you could want. The beach here is just amazing. Lots of beach with ample beachchairs and umbrellas. The pool is quite large and pristine. The attached hot tub is large enough to fit a dozen people and was a nice place to grab a drink and meet other people. Water never seemed to get that hot and the jets aren't that vigorous. Still, very enjoyable. There is a small bar near the pool that is only open in the afternoon. No other amenities are available. To us, that was a plus. This is a great place for couples looking to relax. Bikes are available too. Walkable to numerous restaurants and activities galore nearby. We didn't need car. Just jump in a van at the airport and then I had the staff call me one for a return at the end of trip. Would definitely visit again!

Our second time there, & would stay again. It can get noisy at night because you can hear the live music from downtown.

Wonderful oceanfront villa with amazing views, steps away from Grace Bay beach. Rooms were large, clean and nicely furnished. Plenty of space for our party of 3 and for our 4 friends to join us for several lunches and dinner. Many dining options for all budgets in the immediate walking area, as well as a grocery store within walking distance. Our particular unit, #305, had a cart that can be used if walking to grocery store. This was wonderful and held all of our groceries. We walked as far as Hemingways for dinner one night which was delicious (our group had lobster, snapper, chicken, filet, salmon, pasta and all were outstanding). Did not have a rental car and did not regret our choice not to get one.

We stayed in villa 503. The Villa is decorated beautiful. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was equipped with toiletries, hair dryer and scale. They also provided us with detergent for 4 loads. The kitchen was well equipped. They had two beach chairs, an ice chest and a rolling cart for shopping. Comes with a good size balcony, furnished with a cute small round table (perfect to enjoy your morning coffee) and two lounge beds. Location, location, location! Everything is within walking distance. We rented a car but loved walking the downtown in the evenings.

We were unable to check into the room as we had to move from one room to another and had to wait for hours for security to find out correct code to enter. This was at 9 pm at night and kids were tired and needed to go to bed. Hotel staff said they will make it up to us but they never did. No one ever called and offered anything or even apologized

Just got back from our 5 night stay at the Villa Renaissance. We had villa 102, which was a 2 bdrm oceanfront unit. Here are the pros and cons of our stay - family of 3 Pros: spacious unit, full kitchen, excellent location on Grace Bay (breathtaking beach right in front), very convenient to a lot of restaurants, unit is very well kept, even though you can see it’s dated. Cons: we experienced tons of mosquitoes in the stairwell, which came into the unit when the door opened (biting us all night). The front door had issues and was stuck all the time. My husband had to open it as I couldn’t due to how hard it had to be pulled. Main bedroom had a king bed and secondary bedroom had 2 twins. There was something up with the twin beds. They were LOUD anytime you turned. Maybe time for a new bed frame? The living room has a huge slider, which we hoped to keep open, but couldn’t because of the mosquitoes. Kitchen had a musty smell.. maybe from the dishwasher, seems pretty old. Overall it was a decent property, but I wouldn’t stay there again, personal preference. Location was phenomenal though.

The reason we took off a star is because at night there is a loud noise from a nearby club that could last to 3am. But other than being pricey the place is incredible. The beach has enough seats for everyone. The water is perfect. There is fish in the water in the evening if there aren't many ppl in the water. I suggest you ask the front desk for booking extensions on ur first day as activities get booked up quick. Lovely place I recommend
