Quiet room with view of lake and mountains. Friendly staff. Interesting , if limited, breakfast.

Dear Team, I recently stayed at your hotel in Spiez and wanted to share some feedback about my experience. Firstly, I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the warm welcome from your staff. However, I did notice a few areas that could be improved. The room did not have air conditioning, nor was there a minibar, which I found a bit inconvenient. Additionally, I felt that the pricing was quite high for the services provided. The breakfast was also underwhelming, with limited variety and quantity. We had a nice time in Spiez. The apartment is spacious, bright, and clean. We did have a few issues: on checkin we were told we could decide in the morning about opting in to the hotel guest breakfast package or ordering a la carte, but in the morning we were told that was not an option. We had no soap in either shower even after asking. There were no dark curtains or shades so the rooms were incredible bright very early. One of the beds didn’t have pillows or duvet but we worked it out by moving them from another bed. We had an issue with a bathroom door that didn’t work properly and had a key so my son got locked in for a bit which was unsettling but he figured it out. Overall the staff did not make us feel valued or important, but we appreciated the space and the location.

Pros - great apartment, lovely view, spacious for 4 adults, fridge had water and juice, apt had tea bags and coffee pods, toilet, shower and sinks were separate which is good Few Cons- no elevator, coffee machine didn’t work, very small shower with no clothes hooks

Staff were wonderful. The view is beautiful. Walking distance from the train station. Room was clean and comfortable.

There was a little confusion about checking in. We arrive late and the staff already left for the date. Our Apartment was in the separate building away from the main building. There was no elevator in that building. The staff was nice enough to come back and carry the suitcase for us since we live on the top floor of the building with no elevator. The room is huge and clean.

The hotel itself was excellent. It gave us amazing scenary from the hotel, within walking distance to the lake. The only but big problem was when checking in. I arrived shortly after 6pm, and the reception, entrance door was closed. The note at the door sent they have sent a password to me by email, to unlock the entrance door. However, I have not received it and needed to call the number indicated in the note to get a guidance on how to unlock. It was stressful and as I am from outside EU, it cost me not a cheap amount as it was an international telephone call.

The lady working there was very busy, but still very welcoming and friendly, she gave me a free drink on arrival and offered me a bottle of water on departure, and the room was cosy and comfortable. And the view from the balcony really was incredible - they're not lying when they say they have the best view in Spiez!

Well located hotel with unblock lake and mountain view. Also very friendly and helpful staff!

Nice boutique hotel. room size is not big but OK. Terrace has a lake view. Walkable to train station and boat dock. Expedia gave my booking a VIP upgrade but forgot to ask so didn't get.

Unique breakfast presentation. Nice cafe ambience . Friendly, helpful staff. Zero waste.

I was disappointed in this hotel. The staff was grumpy and forgot a couple of requests. I booked 3 days, but the room very hot without air conditioning even with the windows open. It was very small and loud so I ended up changing hotels midway through my stay. For some, if you need an inexpensive option for a night, this might be fine, but I wasn't really impressed personally.

This hotel was lovely. The staff were very friendly and gave us each a free welcome drink. The rooms were clean and the view was amazing. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing views and stellar service!

Absolutely loved this hotel and Spiez..highly recommend this gem. My husband and I were so sad to leave…clean, peaceful and views are breathtaking.

Everything was positive except we were assigned to a room facing the road which can be noisy w traffic passing us each time.

The room was not anywhere as nice as pictured. Very basic with no air conditioning so had to open window onto the street.

Beautiful little boutique hotel with great views of the Thunersee. We enjoyed great service and a breakfast overlooking the lake. Would recommend.
