Chose to stop at the Dunes on our way to Winnipeg from the West coast.
Worth the 24 km drive into the rural area if you're going to enjoy the casino, or maybe golf( we don't).
We would have appreciated assistance with luggage.
The rooms are uniquely decorated, very clean. Comfortable beds and luxurious linens. Large walk- in showers.
Dining options are avaliable but rather pricey.ie breakfast $49.00 for two. Tip extra. It was a large breakast, more than we could eat. Maybe could decrease the portion and decrease the price.
A large sports bar with comfortable leather easy chairs positioned to watch a huge screen. We sat and ate at the bar and were promptly approached and served by the bar tender after being ignored when we sat at a table in the bar area. We shared the recommended brisket sandwich. Delicious and more than enough for two.
Be warned if you have mobility issues, the casino is a bit of a walk down a long corridor from the hotel.
The reception of the hotel is a very inviting area with numerous seating options, fireplaces and lots of windows.
All the staff we encounter were friendly anf helpful.
