Like Bali, Luwansa is a hotel located in Ubud... quiet and not noisy with city activities... suitable for a staycation

Got a free upgrade from superior to deluxe... this is my 4th stay at Luwansa Manado.

Highly recommended. Although not in the area, it's very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Especially yesterday, I got a free upgrade to a family room.

This is the second time our family has stayed here. Because the first time was so impressive, we chose this hotel again for our special occasion last October. What impressed us was... - The affordable price but the exceptional quality... hopefully it will continue to be maintained, not just because it's new. - The friendly staff... - The cleanliness is excellent. - There's a swimming pool... a small pool and an adult pool, a gym, and a kids' corner (only two play areas, but that's okay). - The food is plentiful and delicious. It's great, plus we got a room upgrade for one reason or another... It's all great. Once again, hopefully everything stays good for a long time.

The room smells of cigarette smoke, I've sprayed it but it still smells.

I requested a non-smoking room, but instead I got a smoking room (their excuse was that the non-smoking rooms were full). This was despite checking in as a family (with small children). In the end, we didn't use the room because it reeked of cigarette smoke. We only used the swimming pool.

The receptionists were rude, both male and female. I asked for a late checkout and they only gave me until 1:30. And even then, at 12:15, I was already on the phone in my room. It took ages to double-check the room after checking out, even though I was alone and the room was safe. The escalator from the basement to the lobby, while I was carrying luggage and other belongings.

I stayed in Luwansa for a week during my trip to Manado. I enjoyed everything, the room is neat, light and comfortable. The service is great but i just dislike the variety of the food and the taste. The lack of variety, and the plain taste. But everything else is great!!
