Great hotel

Our stay at Kimpton Harper was nothing short of amazing! We went for a kid-free birthday celebration weekend. The service was amazing from check-in to our time at the rooftop bar. The rooms were cute and comfy and definitely didn't give the vibe of a normal hotel room. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back!

Very nice hotel for great price

The hotel room was okay. The parking situation was terrible however. We pulled up to the valet and they start pushing us to get out of the car before we can even consider if we want to use the valet. They even took a paddle board out of my trunk that I didn’t want to bring up to the hotel room. It’s almost $60 for overnight parking and we would’ve preferred to park somewhere else for much less and without being rushed out of the car.

Our stay was one night with our dog. The hotel was lovely but they definitely don’t take as much care with the dog rooms. The carpet just did not feel clean. Otherwise, our stay was very nice.

I originally booked 4 nights at The Harper but ended up extending my stay to 5. and it was a mix of highs and lows. The room was cozy with nice bedding and blackout curtains, but a huge red stain on the floor and stained $120 robes made it feel neglected. Check-in was easy and staff were polite, but follow-ups were often required, and housekeeping didn’t change towels or bedding unless we asked repeatedly. In-room dining was fast and well-prepared, though trays were sometimes left outside for hours. Dining in at Il Modo was excellent—consistent, flavorful, and a highlight of the stay. Amenities like the “champagne button” added genuine luxury, and bathroom products were high-quality. Overall, The Harper has style and some standout experiences, but inconsistent service, housekeeping issues, and overlooked details keep it from being a fully polished boutique hotel. Worth a stay if you enjoy the vibe, but don’t expect perfection.

Valet, breakfast, check in, and room were all exceptional. I never visit Fort Worth but I would make the drive from Dallas just for the service and atmosphere.

This is one of the best hotel experiences I've had in recent memory. This Kimpton hotel is in a historic building located across the street from The Capital Grille and Del Friscos, and within walking distance of Sundance Square and Bass Performance Hall. We slept like a champ, it was quiet, safe, super clean, and every employee, from the valet to the front desk to room service, was friendly, prompt, and courteous.

Always enjoy my stay at the Kimpton Harper in Ft. Worth. This is my third time staying here, and it will be my go to hotel when i come to visit my daughter. It's charming, clean, very friendly and accomodating.

We enjoyed our stay. Check-in team member clearly did not want to be there - no smiles, grumpy, was not familiar with rooms or their views. City view room we reserved overlooked mainly highways and industrial. Room and bathroom were spacious. Bed was very comfortable with high quality sheets. Refinery Bar was fun with terrific, friendly bar tenders. Valet staff were exceptional. Brunch at Il Modo was delicious with outstanding service. No pool. Super convenient location with easy walk to fun at Sundance Square and many restaurants.

Absolutely wonderful experience at this very unique hotel. The furnishing were exquisite and very different. The breakfast (had to pay for it) was great with an Italian restaurant attached.
