Great customer service and the staff was kind overall. Good food and great pool! I would come to stay again when I come back to Marbella.

Just average hotel nothing special. Hotel is quite tired, rooms very basic.

I reserved and paid for the best room and upon check in the hotel staff at the check in counter thought it’d be funny to downgrade me to the worst room with the worst view, the cheapest room when I paid for the most expensive room. I asked for a king bed and had to sleep on a single bed (it was 2 single beds put side by side and they call it a double bed). After multiple complaints the manager finally switched me to the room I originally paid for. I wasn’t compensated for the price difference let alone had anything made up for it. I didn’t receive any perks that come with the room I paid for except for one free drink ticket, absolute garbage treatment. The hotel description says it’s newly renovated and it’s not new at all. It’s in a poor state in many areas and the hallways are very narrow when you’re trying to move your luggage. I wasn’t offered any help with my belongings in check in and they didn’t do much to help me park the Porsche I rented even when I was tipping every one of them. I’ve posted some pictures to show you how “new” it is. This is on top of the noise you’d have to deal with from drunk guests late at night as the rooms are not sound proof, a lot of noise creeps in from the doors, and the rooms are very small with respect to what you pay for. It was my first time staying at a Hard Rock Hotel and I would never stay at another one again. I do not recommend it, you’re best off spending your money else where if you want that peace of mind. Great hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. The pools are fun and they gave us free beds for the day. The cocktails were great and the prices weren't too bad. We only had breakfast but it was good with lots of variety. Check in was a bit manic and it took a while to get out room but they gave us a place to change and we chilled by the pool whilst we waited so it was all fine. The room was very nice, well decorated and very quiet.

Restaurants a bit bust for lunch ect .

My friend and I were very pleased with hotel itself, its location (walking distance to the beach and a slightly longer walk to the restaurants / downtown) and amenities. Breakfast was excellent with so many fresh yummy options that we were full till early dinner. Staff was super polite and really helpful.

Beware of the parking scam. 3 days prior to your checkin, the hotel will email you about specials & upgrades where they offer you 50% parking discount and encourage you to book in advance claiming they have limited space. When you arrive, you will find out there is plenty of free public parking available around the hotel. In addition, when you are checking out they pretend they don’t know about the 50% discount they offered and I booked and charge you full price. This is a very cheap move from a brand like Hard Rock Hotel and burns customer trust.

The hotel is great. Pool is a great vibe, but it takes forever to get a drink when you are sitting at the pool. The hotel needs to hire more staff.

Loved it here,we stayed in a studio suite with pool view and the room was fantastic.The hotel as a great atmosphere and the staff were helpful and friendly the bar prices are also reasonable compared to other bars in the area. We stayed half board and and there was a great selection of food for both breakfast and dinner and of was good quality,During the day we lounged by the pool listening to DJ’s and the occasional live act while enjoying a cocktail.We’ll definitely be returning sometime in the near future..

Worst Honeymoon Experience – Ants, Poor Service & Zero Accountability We booked a suite at Hard Rock Hotel Marbella for our honeymoon and it turned out to be one of the worst decisions. The room had ants all over, including the bed. Repeated calls to reception went unanswered, and I had to physically go to VIP check-in to raise the issue. Even after that, it took hours to get a downgraded replacement room, wasting half our day. Throughout the stay, the front office barely picked up calls (60-70% of the time). I had to go down in person just to request basic things like cutlery — which still took over an hour to arrive. Housekeeping entered the room unannounced before checkout time, violating our privacy. When I asked to speak with the General Manager, I was refused. This stay ruined part of our honeymoon. Some staff were polite, but overall, the service and management were absolutely unacceptable for a property of this brand. Would not recommend.

The hotel was very nice, and the area was very nice. It's walkable for the most part and the view from the hotel was awesome. The only problem(s) were was that there were ants in our washroom we called and someone did come. However, they sprayed bug spray in our washroom and we had to sleep with the smell of that heavy, hard to breathe bug spray. The other thing was our A/C didn't work at first, then for some reason it started working. The staff was friendly, and the hotel overall is visually very nice.

When we checked in to our room, I tried calling reception and was on hold for 15 mins with no answer so had to physically head downstairs (which was a trek considering where our suite was). There was a weird loud vibration noise in the room every 20 mins or so which would sometimes wake me up at night. The shower temperature and pressure kept changing whilst it was on and the handwash bottle was broken. The upstairs poolside service was really slow and not because of the staff who were lovely, but because the hotel only had two staff working there. I also didn’t get any perks of being a Hotels.com gold member. The food was nice and the spa massage was relaxing. The staff were also friendly (just too busy). The location is also great, with nice restaurants in walking distance and a mini market opposite. Overall, I would not stay at this hotel again, it did not live up to the Hard Rock name and there are nicer alternatives.

Great property, great breakfast

Place is not a new place, but a renovation of an old hotel done in a poor design. Rooms are sub-par.. very small under 200 sq ft, even though it is advertised at 269. Place is dirty.. minimum staff at least at night.. air filter to the room was dirty
