Nice hotel. Clean and quiet. Parking was not ideal but it worked

Lovely decor recently updated I think - a fair walk up hill from the main historic centre and immediate surroundings a little run down with building work going on right next door. The staff were super helpful, was really clean and pleasant stylish areas including a really nice terrace area - sadly smokers meant we couldn’t use it on one evening - close to the metro for airport transfer - on the whole we really enjoyed our stay 😊

We are a family of four , so paid for a family room. They practically refused earlier check in. The sofa bed for 2 was very uncomfortable. Mattress kept on slipping off at the edge . Three times we got hurt while walking around it due part of base hanging out . Cleaner didn’t understand English and unable to provide us with an electric iron. Only coffee provided in room and no tea . Made a big mistake and paid for the breakfast, limited variety. On day one , only orange juice provided with a highly acidic taste . Waitress spent her whole time chatting at the front desk instead of looking after guests in the dining room. She also did not welcome us and made us feel very uncomfortable.She made us feel that we shouldn’t be there .At the front desk, on day one early evening about 6:30 pm asked the front desk staff, where to visit and he advised not to visit the Ribeira as it would be full of tourists ?? Although I knew ,it was the best area to visit. Again he was at times abrupt. This is certainly not a four star hotel.

Good value for money, walking distance to sights.

This is a cutest hotel. Loved the location however parking is a challenge to load & unload luggage.

The hotel is ok very small room and bathroom the break fast was very good but they charge for everything the distant waking to the city was ok but go up was very tough we take a uber

We had amazing stay here on our honeymoon! The hotel is very trendy and our room was perfect. The location is within walking distance of many restaurants. They offer parking for a fee across the street. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Good hotel to stay at for their buffet breakfast that comes with the cost of your room. Friendly staff. Nice location for walks and scenery. Bus service close by and a 15 minute bus ride takes you to the center of Funchal.

Excellent staff and able to access areas of Porto we wanted to explore with convenience.

We were place on a room near their construction area so you could not really stay there long cause you can hear the ongoing construction. The AC and ventilation on the toilet is not working, in which i complaint about it twice and nothing happened.

Great staff, very friendly & helpful, and the location was very amenable to walking. The room soundproofing wasn't great though, and the beds weren't particularly comfortable.

I had a phenomenal stay at Pur Oporto. Really lovely and spacious rooms that are well appointed. After a long day of walking and exploring, I looked forward to relaxing at the hotel. The breakfast was also really delicious with a variety of foods in a quaint breakfast area. Staff were excellent and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Our bedroom was a great size with good bathroom facilities but the bed and pillows for us, were hard and uncomfortable. The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice but the dining room is cramped and very busy.
