this hotel is an example of style over substance. It looks the part but is in fact nothing more than a posh hostel...the rooms are simply a bed. There is no fridge, no facilities to make a hot drink, not even a bottle of water.
There is one choice of soap for everything in the bathroom and no other products.
you can't eat or drink there outside of set hours, no room menu or service. There is no facility to even buy a drink or food (no vending machines) and it's not situated near any shops so out of hours you are stuck.
the staff were cold to any request, almost laughing at me for asking where I could buy a bottle of water.
If you order food delivery, you have to wait in reception until it arrives as there is no phone in the room.
this hotel advertises itself as a 4 star hotel, but it's nowhere near and operates on the very basic level. Also one day I asked for my room to be cleaned, and only the bed was made, the maid didn't even go into the bathroom.
Really - if you want this kind of experience go to the MIchelberger. If you want a REAL 4 star hotel, go ANYWHERE else.
