Good location nice breakfast not to far from uptown sights

Beautiful hotel in a great area. The room was large, clean and very well appointed. Tons of cute wine bars and restaurants in the area and the breakfast at the hotel was delicious.

The property is an expertly converted house that retains the original character while updating to modern standards. We had a room with a balcony facing the garden and couldn’t be happier with the charming atmosphere. The people on staff were sweet and attentive, including during the historic power failure that hit Portugal and Spain. And to top it all off, we didn’t even know that the place has one of the finest vegan restaurants we’ve been to — and we’re vegan! Even if you don’t think you would like vegan food food, you owe it to yourself to try it. Thank you Diana and all the lovely staff folks!

Be aware it's vegeterian food for breakfast. They can cook eggs for you. The food is very clean and well made. Our room is small with a balcony but it's a beautiful place to stay!

The property is beautiful and very well decorated. Our room was very comfortable and again very beautiful. The location was great as it was a small distance away from the centre and less busy, but still close to the shops, restaurants and areas we wanted to visit. The staff were incredibly helpful and even packed breakfast for us when we had an early check out, which was very thoughtful. We would stay again.

We loved staying here. Staff was so welcoming, steered us in right direction for food and sightseeing. Had great drinks before dinner at their in- house bar and then walked to dinner. One night at Cruel and one night at Mistu. Both fantastic. We loved our walk back up the hill to the quiet neighborhood where the inn was. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and perfect before set off on foot each day to see the sights. I highly recommend this small, quiet hotel. Thank you for such a nice stay.

Perfect boutique hotel. Loved the beautifully furnished and high ceiling room(and shower). The hotel staffs were all super nice and very professional.

The staff, particularly Sara, were terrific. From pre-visit emails to departure, they did everything they could to make our visit comfortable. The restaurant was delicious. Help with transfers and recommendations was provided quickly, clearly and cheerfully. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.
