I like the self check in option since we got there so late. I love how historic it is! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

simple old type property true feel of the area

A beautiful hotel with wonderful rooms with high ceilings and historic features. The beds were super comfy and the breakfast plentiful. A great base to explore the city with very helpful hosts. Our host Carlos had a number of excellent recommendations he texted us.

Excellent hotel, staff, amazing room and wonderful breakfast

It was a beautiful building and the staff seemed nice. The breakfast was very good. The rooms did not have phones, the doors locked with a key only. The staff was not there from 6 in the evening until 8 in the morning which felt very unsafe to me. The beds were hard and awful, the shower and bathroom was very small and water leaked all over from the shower.

The personalized check was really helpful. The on site staff went out of their way to ensure our comfort and had helpful suggestions for activities and restaurants. The room was gorgeous. Excellent hot water pressure and it was spotless. Included breakfast was very good.

We were unable to make it the day of check in and Carlos and his staff were so accommodating! The room was absolutely gorgeous and spacious. It was wonderfully located to go see all the things we wanted. Lovely, lovely stay!

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. The check-in and welcome from Adelaide who was very warm and hospitable. She was friendly and very professional which made the short stay extremely pleasant. The room and amenities were ideal, but a hot water kettle will be useful during the winter season. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay.

Amazing stay at Dom Jose. Rita checked us in and she is amazing. Reached out to me the day before and advised to me that my room would be ready early. She gave great recommendations on things to do and where and what to eat. The room is beyond spacious and beautiful!!!! Really convenient to walk around everything from the hotel. Het hotel heeft een bescheiden aantal kamers in een sfeervol oud herenhuis bij het centrum van de stad met houten vloeren, plafonds met sierpleistering en toch het comfort van airco en een fijne douche. Er is een kleine gezellige ontbijtruimte en het personeel doet alle moeite om het je naar de zin te maken. Wij voelden ons er echt welkome gasten.
