The bathroom was not clean. The shower curtain was dirty. Toilet flush was poor. WiFi was available but poor signal and very slow.

A nice, albeit a bit run-down, small hotel right next to Grande Place and all the key sites in central Ypres. The receptionist (maybe the owner) was friendly and explained clearly how to access the building, and especially emphasized not to park on Grande Place on Friday night so we wouldn't get towed! He also gave very helpful advice about seeing the Last Post. The room was a bit musty and mosquitos were active all night. The bathroom was large. Breakfast was standard continental. A nice place for a one-night stay.

Could be an outstanding hotel in the location and size. But it appears to be run by time limited staffing, check in 4-8 breakfast 7-9:30 For what we esmted it was great, close to flanders museum, city square and Menin Gate. Breakfast was acceptable, everything all other hotels offer, but no more. No kettle in room, no OOH desk. Needs a clean tho, you can write in the dust on shelves. Drawers in bedroom screwed shut?? Wardrobe doors fastened with too long screws?? Not a problem for one night, just makes you wonder. Overall a cheap hotel in a fantastic location that provides a service, no more than that

What the owner or yourselves forgot to mention was that it was the towns shopping weekend!! ALL roads leading to the hotel were CLOSED!!!!! The rooms were mediocre, the OPEN staircase was an accident waiting to happen, in all not a good stay

Beds ok but exceptionally low and there is no parking as advertised only on street and it’s a one way street stairs are made out of marble and steep and slippery no go for anyone with a disability staff friendly

Hotel location is fantastic with access to the Grote Square and all the local attractions, restaurants and bars within a minutes walk. Menin Gate is less than 5 minutes walk. Room was comfortable and has plenty of air with the windows open. Free parking is available with a 5-minute walk away. Parking is free on the street right outside on Saturday after 6PM and all-day Sunday Breakfast was continental and very pleasant with an assortment bread, hams, cheese, boiled eggs and juices My only negative is that the rooms could do with updating and decorating but that is only a minor negative I would definitely stop here again

We were welcomed by the owner with a smile he then told us the booking was for two I showered him your Email and said it was no problem and concluded booking in.

Rooms were clean. We were there for one night on a motorcycle and the owner allowed the use of his garage. Continental Breakfast was very good with good choices. Had a problem with late night entry but owner solved that.

Place is in a great location you can more or less get to the cloth hall in 5 mins Manager/owner is a really nice guy and can give you any info you need rooms are fine The little Indian restaurant on the same st is good

Very old but perfect position

My second time staying here. On street parking in front of the property, but charges apply and are limited to 3 hours during the day. Some areas of the building are looking old. But all facilities fully functional and room was well equipped. Shower was very powerful and hot water is quickly on tap. Friendly welcome on arrival and courteous an helpful throughout right till departure.

Nice little hotel in the centre of a nice town. Menin gate just round the corner with plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Lovely hotel, very warm and friendly welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The room was small, the heavy mirrored wardrobe door was held on with sellotape and nearly hit me when I attempted to open it. Bedside light didn’t work. Door lock stiff. On site parking, had to squeeze a motorcycle between a wall and a van in a very dark unlit space. Bath plug didn’t work, could empty the bath.

Great central location. Quiet ground floor room

Excellent location for the centre of town - parking was a little hit and miss but you should manage to find somewhere in town, none on site. Hotel is a little dated but everything worked fine and was clean and friendly, lots of hot water and pressure for the shower.

Ideal for visits to Ieper, Menin gate, the commonwealth military cemeteries, and Bellewaerde Theme park (10 min drive). Downside is no parking. You can park outside the front door for up to 3 hours, but no good for long stays!
