Across from railway station

I stayed at Hotel Empire in Luxembourg and found it ideal for a short visit. The biggest highlight is definitely the location — it’s right across from the main train station, which made arriving, departing, and getting around the city incredibly easy. The room was clean and functional, nothing fancy but comfortable enough for a night or two. Staff at the front desk were polite and check-in was fast. I also appreciated that there were shops, cafés, and public transport stops all within walking distance. If you’re looking for a convenient, well-located place to stay near the station, this hotel is a solid choice. Great for solo travelers or anyone passing through.

Really comfortable, photos don't do the hotel justice. Very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent breakfast with fresh juice. Quite room (for me), A/C that works well, Very convenient right across from Gare Centrale. Everything you could need within 100 feet of hotel. While advertised as 3 Star, it's a top class 3 star. Well done 10/10

My friend and I stayed at Hotel Empire for two nights. It is in a good location, the bus from the airport stops right outside, and it is about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were all friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I like this hotel but all of the hotels in Luxembourg, it’s vastly overpriced. It should cost about $80 a night. This is a renovated 2-star hotel with air- conditioning that actually works which is a bonus. Alas, like a lot of these hotels, they are about 94 sq feet which is so small, it’s uncomfortable at some point. So all in all, not bad for a quick overnight, but too small for more than that.

Great 1 night stay, everything was good

A very nice hotel with a great central location and nice rooms. Although the room was a bit dated it’s still very comfortable, cosy and clean. Staff were also very friendly. The only issue was the walls and windows aren’t very soundproofed so I could hear a lot of noise from outside and neighbouring rooms.

Really impressed by friendliness and kindness of young receptionist Silvia. Her attention to our needs made an immediate positive impression of entire Luxembourg country.

Very good !! In front of the train station, tram, bus. Can be a little noisy at night but not horrible, we were able to sleep 😊. Nice breakfast.

The hotel is right across the street from the Central train station and trams, very convenient to every part of town. The tram takes you to the Findel airport in about 35 minutes from Central station.

Excellent breakfast thanks to lovely lady making eggs to order. Bus 89 from/to airport right in front of hotel. Tram’s 3rd stop will put you in old town. Excellent location

Great location if you need to be close to the train station. I thought I was booking in city center which is probably what it is considered, but I should’ve booked in ville haute or old town. In general the hotel was basic and tired. Our room was small and basic. Bathroom was tired and really small, the shower was really, really, really small. Our last day as we left our room, the staff was cleaning the room next to ours and the shower was double the size of ours, had we known we would have asked for another option at check in. You would think the staff might had offered another option given my husband is 6’8” or 2 meters. Breakfast was very good and the cook was very accommodating and friendly! Breakfast was located in a bright, sunny area that also has a bar. We asked the front desk staff if they have an evening happy hour and were informed the bar has not been open since Covid. The alcohol is still there, which I’m sure lasts forever. Oddly, they have a gumball type machine sitting on the bar with peanuts in it. Makes you wonder how old are those peanuts? Or is it Luxembourgish to eat peanuts with
