The property is great, but there is much homelessness and heavy drug use around the area, making it not so much family-friendly, but the price was fair so I can not complain much.

The rooms smelled if we didn't have the restroom vents opened. I won't consider this hotel as non-smoking. The breakfast had very limited choices.

First off, the staff is friendly and provides excellent service. Unfortunately that is the only positive. The property is in the middle of a homeless area (probably like most of Portland) and the presence of that population dominates the area. When we arrived, the power to the area of the hotel was out but the staff still managed to get us checked in and into our room (though we were surprised there was no emergency lighting in the hallways). Also be aware the smell of marijuana is prevalent from the time you leave your car until you enter your room. The room furnishings are at best meager. The kitchenette for the "extended stay" property contains only a refrig, micro oven, sink and hot plate. No dishes or utensils unless you specially request them at the front desk. There's not even a coffee maker in the room or an ice machine on the property (make your own in the freezer). But there's no table to eat on anyway unless you use the desk. The only chair is a beat up desk chair and the bureau only had two drawers but shelves and cutouts for a refrig and micro which are not needed. The "healthy breakfast" is a total joke. Coffee, oatmeal (in a cup), fruit bars, yogurt or hard boiled egg. THAT'S IT! Finally, be prepared for the gatherings in the parking lot. People were just hanging out by their cars drinking beer and smoking pot. Did see one security guard but he parked his car, got out and stopped to have a smoke with the other patrons hanging out by the entry door.

This place was a little run-down. The light at the bedside kept flickering.

Hotel and staff are great! The area around the hotel is marginal but nothing negative happened and I’ve stayed in this area for the last four years and nothing has ever happened. There is a new food truck park adjacent to the hotel and had a great lunch and dinner one of the days I was there. Dinning otherwise in not walkable but there is good dinning within 15 minute drive.

Free breakfast but only muffins, coffee and water Homeless are just around roaming so it's very dangerous to leave anything in your car. Constant banging of the wall from next door.

The parking is filled with many strangers. Maybe all the hotels in that area are affected by this same situation. There's a patrol car running. I look at the hotel nearby, they also affected by homeless. The room is great, except the bath tub is quite worn out. The staff is helpful.

The hotel itself and staff were great, but the surrounding area has a lot of drug users/homeless roaming the area. I didn’t see any in the parking lot for the hotel itself, but they were close by in the adjacent parking lots (especially the Burger King.) They didn’t bother us, but something you should be aware of if staying there. The parking lot is well lit and there’s a private security car that frequently patrols the area.

My stay at was absolutely disappointing. During the 5 nights we stayed there, our room was never cleaned, and the trash was never taken out. The smell in the entrance and common areas was unbearable. The reception was always unattended, which made it difficult to get help or resolve any issues that arose. The breakfasts were practically non-existent. We were only offered coffee and a muffin, which was very disappointing considering the price we paid. Additionally, there were many homeless people in the surrounding area, which made us feel uncomfortable. The worst part was when the power went out on Friday morning, and there were no emergency lights. They didn't even notify us of what had happened, which left us in a very uncomfortable situation. Overall, my experience at this hotel was very bad, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Power outage happened during my stay. No staff on premesis. All hallways dark without illuminated Exit signs and stairwells were pitch black. Used cell phone flashlight to get downstairs and exit building. No one at front desk. Front door open and ajar and anyone could enter building undetected. Security guards were out at far end of parking lot chit-chatting and not working. A lot of vagrant and homelessness in the area. Unsafe situation for several reasons. I would have hoped that property management would bring in battery powered lighting for hallways and stairwells to help guests exit. It was a ghost town and apocalyptic. Property management needs to reconsider safety protocols. I won't stay here again.

They made a big deal about my service dogs so I had to explain why my kid need a service dog that a Dr. recommended for his condition. So when I was explaining the manager said ok pay for one and the other one stays free but the kid and the dog need to be together at all times . Damn didn’t know she made the rules about service dogs!
