Wheelchair user here and I booked a wheelchair accessible room, while the room had pull cords it was very small and I struggled to move around. My main issue was the bathroom, the room was booked for 2 nights and while it was a wet room there was no chair to transfer. My chair is electric but even if it were manual I wouldn't go inside the shower I would still need a transfer to. Some hotels have a free standing chair, others it's fitted to the shower wall. There was nothing, leaving me to wash sat on the toilet removing dignity. I spoke to the hotel reception, my mobile number and email address was taken but noone bothered to call. Disabled people need facilities to be meaningful and tested by disabled people.
Apart from this the hotel was clean and staff friendly.
