The most comfortable homestay...
The staff is very kind and friendly (if I'm not mistaken, his name is Mas Yudi, I hope so).
Yesterday, I got a room on the second floor, as requested for a non-smoking room overlooking Prambanan Temple.
When I entered, the room was clean, especially the bathroom (this was a huge plus for me).
I booked a twin-bed room, and it was a bit cramped, but for someone like me who isn't too fussy about room size, this isn't a problem (the only problem is the dirty bathroom).
The AC worked very well, the bedsheets were clean, and I got two towels and two bottles of drinking water.
The bathroom was pooooolishly clean, with hot water, although it didn't last long (you had to wait a bit to use it).
Oh yeah, soap and shampoo aren't provided, so you have to bring your own. But you do get a toothbrush and a small amount of toothpaste.
The downside is that because this location is close to Prambanan, it's a bit far from Yogyakarta city, about a 30-minute drive. However, if you're really planning to visit Prambanan Temple, this is the best homestay you can choose, as it's only a 5-10 minute drive from here.
Thank you, Galeri Taman Prambanan.
I'll definitely come back here the next time I visit Prambanan.
