Breakfast is quite varied, rooms are often late in being cleaned until the afternoon, around 16.30, before they are cleaned and tidied up for those staying more than one day.

Having read mixed reviews online about this 3-star property I was not sure what to expect. As it turned out my son and I had a really pleasant 6 night stay. All the staff throughout the hotel and restaurant were very friendly, helpful and carried out their duties in a professional manner. The included buffet breakfast was adequate and enough to keep us going till lunchtime. The hotel restaurant also serves mixed asian western food from 1030 - 22.00 daily, which is useful when it is raining heavily outside in the evening. Wifi dropped out occasionally, but generally good reception in the room and public areas of the hotel. The location of the hotel was a big plus for us as it is close to the shopping malls and MRT. The hotel is right at the end of the Jalan Alor Street Food Market which we didn't frequent as it is a bit touristy and there are cheaper options on other streets nearby. We witnessed an attempted bag snatch (not ours) in a side street near the hotel one evening, so need to be extra vigilant at night.

My first time in KL, I stayed here. Check-in was quick, the staff were all friendly, the cleanliness was good, and the location was excellent. Now, I often stay here with family, relatives, and business associates. Thank you, Ibis.

Overall, this Ibis hotel is highly recommended. The only downside is that there's no hair dryer in the room. You have to borrow one at reception, and even then, you have to queue.

The location is very strategic, right on Jalan Alor, so it's easy to try the trendy street food there. It's also within walking distance to the Bukit Bintang hotspots around Lot 10 and the Pavilion. A somewhat unique feature is that the shower bidet is located on the left, making it a bit difficult to use.

This is my second stay here. I remember it was still called Travelodge. The atmosphere remains unchanged and comfortable. Highly recommended.

The hotel staff is friendly.. only the location of the hotel is quite far from entering Alor.. if you want to take public transportation like Grab after 2 o'clock it's already difficult.. because it's getting crowded & the road to enter Alor is closed to cars..
The room is not soundproof enough.. it's noisy at night..

Very good hotel. Near to Jalan Alor and accessible to MRT station. I’ve booked for Superior room with two single beds but suddenly the hotel upgraded my room into deluxe room with three bed because the room for two beds was already fully booked. Will stay again at this hotel if I come back to Kuala Lumpur.

Located in the heart of the city center, you don't need to worry about culinary delights. From afternoon until midnight, Jalan Alor is filled with food vendors, including a wide variety of fruits. I always stay at this hotel when I go to KL 👍👍
