I don't know where to begin, but one word: amazing! I visited this hotel not only with my family, but also with guests from abroad. And for them, the hotel was pure bliss. They truly enjoyed the view, the rooms, and the service. They said they wished they could stay one more night so they could enjoy the swimming pool. Why? The swimming pool, even though it was cold and rainy, the water temperature was still comfortable for swimming. For us, this was a real plus. As for the location, it certainly lived up to its claims, just walking distance to Punthuk Setumbu. Last but not least, I really appreciated the friendliness and kindness of the service. Although the reception desk was sometimes empty during our stay, the service via WhatsApp was excellent. And, when my child left something behind, they contacted me and were happy to send it to my house. Such kind and excellent service from The Setumbu Experience.

The location is very close to the Punthuk Setumbu gate. It's just a 15-minute walk up the hill to see the sunrise. The restaurant's menu is also delicious.

It's well worth it for the 500,000 Rupiah price on weekdays. Comfortable and clean. Spacious rooms. A delightful swimming pool. Great views. Ample parking across from the hotel. There's also a reading/coffee lounge. Unfortunately, the hotel can only be contacted via WhatsApp, but calls are unanswered. Extra beds cost 200,000 Rupiah.

really good, the room is really spacious, I didn't expect it. The pool is right in front of the room. And it's really close to Punthuk Setumbu, just walk and you're there. The swimming pool is also really nice, spacious, long, the water isn't cold either. It's really nice to swim early in the morning after going to Punthuk Setumbu. It's really a hotel that I would recommend if you want to go to Punthuk Setumbu. The service is also okay. Only the bathroom is noisy, I don't know what it is. The rest is okay👏🏼👏🏼

The best hotel when you visit Borobudur.

The room amenities are very complete! There's a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. The staff are all very kind. My kids were given toys. The morning/evening views are the BEST!

It was a pleasant stay for us. The hotel was clean and aesthetically pleasing. The pool was large with a beautiful view, and the room was spacious. Parking was a bit tight, but overall it was a great stay. Definitely recommended as a good value option.

First time to Magelang and very memorable I do not regret choosing The Setumbu Experience to stay even though it was only for one night The room is the best, the view is the best, the service is great pollll because I was always helped by the super helpful guys I promise to come back someday

The hotel staff is very friendly & helpful, the rooms are spacious, clean & complete, the swimming pool has a luxurious view, in front of the room is the swimming pool and beautiful view, very close to Puthuk Setumbu & Borobudur Temple. Overall, excellent.
