We were told to come back at 2pm to check in, then came back just after 2pm, to be told the room wasnt ready and to come back in 15 mins, came back at this time and was told the room was ready however when we got the keys the maid was still cleaning for another 10 minutes. There was no lock on the balcony door which was unsafe. Rattling pipes kept us awake, the mouldy, run down bathroom looked horrible. There was no lift - made it challenging getting to the second floor with a pram and luggage. We canceled our next night stay and went elsewhere.

Wasn't in a renovated room so very dated and needing fixing up. Shower head wouldn't stay up. Dirty cup left on bench from previous guest.
Nice staff and easy walk to shops and restaurants.

Great location for the concert in the park. All of the staff were lovely and very welcoming. Dinner at the on side restaurant was delicious.

Very happy with our stay, comfortable, great view, had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Well attended by staff. One problem, the noise coming from the plumbing for the shower was horrendous. We noticed that the panel for the plumbing had been opened after we reported it. Perhaps to investigate it? The hotel is being refurbished at the moment but any building noise did not start too early.

The beds and pillows were not to my liking, quite uncomfortable and hard. We tried the hot breakfast which was average. Other than that, the staff were wonderful , location was perfect, great views.

Overall it was ok. 2nd time coming to this hotel. This time unfortunately 2 staff were not friendly/ professional. Receptionist check/ out was not really friendly. Our room was not ready by 2pm and had to wait 20-25min with a young child which was difficult. Receptionist was not really friendly/ professional. The 2 staff for dinner wete very friendly and nice making the dining experience more enjoyable. Unfortunately the lady at breakfast was unfriendly, and the way she spoke sounded like she hated her job and didn't want to be there. The cleaning staff were friendly.
Location is great,very central, by the water and closed to everything.
