Love the classical theme which engages with the modern vibes. We can smell the calm & elegance scent at the first step we enter the lobby. We had a spacious room & we love the decoration. The breakfast: soo tasty, we often had breakfast in another hotels (they served too many variety of food, but we can’t taste their best meal), however, Des Indes provided us enough variety and they all are good. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Such a lovely experience.

Stayed one night at Des Indes Menteng to take my child to school for the first time, which happens to be on Jl. Besuki across from the hotel.
The hotel staff at the front office were very friendly and professional, like hoteliers.
We were upgraded to an Executive room, and it was amazing. 😀
For breakfast, the variety of food and beverages was excellent, and everything was delicious.
I will definitely stay at Des Indes Menteng again.

Initially I chose this hotel because I liked the interior, plus the strategic location. Actually, I was just staying there so I didn't have much experience but so far it's comfortable, the staff are also friendly, the room facilities are quite complete plus the price is very affordable and I always like hotels whose toiletries are not the usual "hotel" template which makes you uncomfortable after taking a shower.

the water heater did not work during my stay, the food was also disappointing unlike the reviews. The worst thing is that none of the security guards there helped me even though they saw me bringing an elderly person with a wheelchair. They did not help push the wheelchair up and down, even though they saw that I was having trouble, especially when pushing it up, the path was high and steep, instead other guests helped me. I will not be back again...

We sincerely apologize for the malfunction of the water heater during your stay. This is a basic comfort standard that we should always meet, and we regret the inconvenience it caused.
We are also very concerned and disappointed to learn that your dining experience did not meet your expectations and did not align with previous positive reviews. Our culinary team will immediately review this feedback to ensure the continuous improvement of our food quality and variety.
However, your feedback regarding the assistance from our security staff is what worries us the most. We are truly sorry and shocked to hear that none of our security personnel were prompt in assisting you, especially when you were with a senior using a wheelchair on a difficult path. This is absolutely unacceptable and goes against the standards of service and hospitality ethics we uphold. We have immediately escalated this matter to the relevant management to conduct a thorough investigation and implement necessary corrective actions and retraining to prevent such incidents from recurring. We are very grateful to the other guests who assisted you.
We fully understand your disappointment and your decision not to return. However, we sincerely hope you might consider giving us another chance in the future to prove that we can provide a much better and more satisfying stay, consistent with the standards you expect.
