Jiro Hotel

Everyone was accommodating and cleanliness was really good. There's a 24/7 cafe below with great view and vibes.

Overall, it was satisfactory. I didn't have time to take any photos.

Stayed 3 nights at Jiro Hotel. I've been curious every time I go to Bandung to stay at Jiro Hotel, which was previously called Hotel Karmila. The location is very strategic and premium. The hotel is combined with Sugu Restaurant which is never empty. The hotel design is Industrial Minimalist. Don't expect a large hotel lobby, because the reception desk is 1 with their bakery display. The check-in process is fast, all guest data is inputted using a tablet. The first impression when entering the room, the room is fragrant and clean. The AC works perfectly. I ordered a Superior room type, if it's for 2 people it feels quite cramped. But there is still space to put your suitcase and if you want to pray. The bathroom is quite spacious and clean. Hot water is stable (this is important). There is a balcony with an ashtray. Although this hotel is one with a cafe and restaurant that is open 24 hours, surprisingly my room is soundproof. So I can rest comfortably. What makes staying at Jiro Hotel even more comfortable is that for breakfast you are given a choice: whether to have it delivered to your room or to have it prepared at the hotel restaurant. I chose the first option. Breakfast menu options are still limited, but the taste is quite good. Jiro Hotel will be my first hotel option if I stay in Bandung.

good vibes, great location and having a restaurant is a plus

We stayed during the weekend and after Eid. It was quite crowded but the hotel didn't feel too crowded. But honestly, the most "disturbing" thing was the guests from the restaurant. The parking lot was really full and we had to valet the security guard. Plus the rainy conditions, so we had to take our stuff from the outermost parking lot and got a bit wet. The room was really good in terms of design, comfort, and the division of compartments between the room-gathering room-bathroom. The lighting (both lamps and natural light) was well arranged. Even though the view was mostly of the surrounding housing and several buildings, it was still okay because we could still see the view in the distance. Room service was also okay, 24-hour standby via WA. The people were also friendly. The only thing that was a bit disappointing-but-not-disappointed was that the breakfast wasn't ayce/buffet 🥲, but we were told to choose 1 main course and 1 drink, then the side dish could be either one or cut fruit, like if you go to a hotel you'd rather try the breakfast haha so it's a shame it wasn't a buffet. But the plus point is that we ended up eating in sufficient portions, not excessively, and minimal food waste. It's great. Btw the main course and salad are delicious lol thx hotel jiro. I ordered: The Power of Sugu B'fast. Overall the experience of staying here is pretty okay. Not completely perfect. But maybe next time I go to Bandung again, it can be an option, as long as it's not during a long weekend or holiday season.

Great location. Spacious room. The amenities are complete and nice. Cleanliness is great. The food is amazing. Though the cafe staff need to elevate more how to handle customers 🙂. Overall is great!

This hotel is really amazing... SO COOL! I'm confused about how to review it. Staying in a Suite room for just 1 night feels like it's not enough. I'll definitely come back if I go to Bandung... TOP!!

We stayed for 1 night here in the deluxe room. The space of the room is okay, cleanliness of the room, the bed and also the location very good. We tried to eat there but the meal was just okay for us, considering that Bandung offers quite a lot of good food nearby. Definitely will go back to stay here again!

I like the minimalist modern style from Jiro, and they have 24 hours restaurant on the 1st floor, so we can chill there anytime 😄
