Highly recommended for a staycation with kids, as it features a playground and a children's pool. The breakfast food is also highly recommended. The only thing that needs improvement is the cleanliness of the rooms, especially the bathrooms. Otherwise, it's highly recommended.

It was pleasant... but they weren't very responsive in resolving issues. The security guards should have been more efficient. The bag delivery guy who was asked for help was also less responsive. However, the room was comfortable, and the food was delicious and varied. Affordable price

Needs a lot of repairs. It looks good from the outside, but it's not up to par. The service is okay. The location is very strategic.
Please fix it.
- The AC is broken in almost every hot room, including the restaurant, elevator, and rooms.
- Only one elevator is working, and it's hot again.
- The restaurant is hot.
- The children's play area is hot and the AC is off.
- The swimming pool water is dirty.
- Plastic cups are used.
- Drinking water in the room costs 35,000 Rupiah, nothing is free like other hotels.
- The bathroom smells.
- The 9th floor is very dirty along the corridors.
- The parking lot is small.

Royal Bay Hotel is good for two things: location (5 minutes walk from Losari Beach; 15 minutes from Fort Rotterdam) and drinking water (you can fill your own bottles from a gallon). However, there are quite a few things to improve: our room was not cleaned/tidied every day, there was no soap, the bedsheets were clean but very old and stained, there were no batteries for the TV remote, the light switch was broken, the curtains were broken etc. Also, the small room had a glass door that opened up and down: all the smells and sounds could be smelled and heard :)

Overall it's okay because it's close to Losari Beach, and the hotel is clean. It's just that there's no shampoo in the toilet. And the toilet paper is almost finished. I wanted to ask for more, but I only stayed for a day so I didn't feel like asking for shampoo and more tissue. The swimming pool is okay
