Very nice hotel, excellent staff, breakfast was fine, had some trouble adjusting the aircon, I enjoyed my stay

Nice good convenient

The good: The property is clean and comfortable, with a convenient location close to major attractions. The room faces away from the road, ensuring no traffic noise. The bad: Soundproofing is poor; conversations from neighboring rooms are clearly audible. Additionally, parking incurs an extra charge.

The staff & service were excellent. Cannot fault the staff. Spoilt for choice at breakfast. The room was lovely although I would've preferred one with a bath but that's ok. The surrounds is shabby but that's just the area it's located at. It's very close to Time Square and short distance to Lalaport if shopping is your thing. Note to self...don't use Google Maps for walking directions. It'll lead you up the garden path!

Housekeeping and friendliness was under par.

Excellent hotel and great service

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Lovely views of city from the rooms and lift lobby. Great housekeeping and room furnishing and design. Bed was very comfortable. Many thanks to all the staff at Mecure klsp for the wonderful hospitality.

The hotel itself is clean, staff are helpful and kind. However, the location isn’t that great or walkable to most places of interest in Kuala Lumpur. You have to be prepared to call a taxi in order to explore the city. Nevertheless, given the price point of the hotel it’s definitely worth the price.

Overall great place and would recommend. Better if you have your own ride but not needed. Transportation is inexpensive there.

Being part of the Accor group and also the Mercure brand, we had expected the same standards from this hotel. However, we were very disappointed during our stay. Check-in was slow and the staff was constantly on the computer without telling us what they were doing. We had spent almost close to 30 mins checking in. The room was a letdown. Upon going into my room after check-in, the minibar drawer still has trash and opened packets of sugar and coffee, and I had to call housekeeping again to clean up. I had even caught a roach in the evening after I came back from my dinner. The down light and the light on the toilet mirror was faulty, making the toilet so dimly litted. There are also cracks on the walls and dirt on the carpet, even after housekeeping was done. Overall, the room looks and feels dirty even after cleaning. Perhaps a refurbishment will do them good. This is definitely not what I expect from a 4-star hotel and also from a renowned hotel group. I will definitely reconsider going back to this hotel when I'm back in KL in the future.
