I've done my booking via mobile app and paid the room through my debit card, same night booking before checking in. And it was hassle free and as easy as 123. Thank you online agent. However, upon arrival in the hotel, I showed my voucher and told the front desk officer that I'm already fully paid. He said that it was not paid yet, what they did was just getting my card number for assurance. So to make everything settled because I want to rest, it's almost 11pm from my event, I just gave my debit card and let him process the payment, and input my pin and issued me receipt and key card. But upon checking my online banking, 2 payments were reflected, both were for payment for kingsford hotel accommodation and what's more annoying is that the one that they charged me was higher than what I paid in traveloka. I told him that it ' s not my fault and kingsford must refund the amount he charged me. He said the finance did not replied because it's already late. I said I am leaving early the next day and I need to get the refund upon check out because this was not my fault. I am not the one who made the mistake and I will not accept if I will wait for many working days. But until I checked out yesterday, no development. They said the bank processing will be up to maximum 30days. I said it doesn't matter, I understand the bank process but why do I have to suffer just because of their mistake. But still they insisted and until now, no response yet! And by the way, I also noticed other person on that same night also complaining about other issues and they were not handling it well. I hope this will not happen to other guests! Thank you!
