Unfortunately the property lacked basic maintenance, including plumbing issues and simple things like working shower heads and half working fixtures. Was cheap and it showed.

Superb adaptation of an old monastery, rooms are clean and the bathroom is spacious. They could easily upgrade from just being a youth hostel

Amazing view. Beautiful building. Super friendly staff. Ok room. Ok breakfast. Ok bathrooms - hot water was barely warm.

Excellent staff and hostel. Great location. Almost 100% except that bathroom stalls are too enclosed and require ventilation.

Karig uitgeruste kamer, allemaal nogal gedateerd. Wel redelijk schoon. De jeugdherberg heeft verder nagenoeg geen sociale voorzieningen voor gasten: geen gezellige gemeenschappelijke ruimtes, geen keuken waar gebruik van kan worden gemaakt. Het ontbijt dat bij de overnachting is inbegrepen kan eigenlijk beter overgeslagen worden. Koffie en 'sap' uit een automaat die niet te drinken is. Maximaal 2 broodjes per gast en alleen dunne plakjes kaas of ham als beleg. Receptionisten doorgaans wel vriendelijk.

Era solo una tappa di passaggio, fra un volo aereo e un traghetto. Andava quindi benissimo. Struttura molto bella, camere ricavate in un convento di inizio '700. Colazione basica.

Uns hat das Hostel sehr gefallen. Großes Zimmer ohne viel Schnickschnack.

Hübsches altes Gemäuer mit Stil und Aussicht.

Las literas muy incomodas, se mueven mucho. No hay almacenamiento donde las camas para cosas pequeñas. No hay cocina. Aparte de eso muy limpio, el personal fue simpatico.

No kitchen, poor wifi just at the reception, every second toilette out of service, elevator out of service, staff opposite of motivated

The place is similar to the description and it's well located. Unfortunately the mattresses were not comfortable and we couldn't have access to the kitchens :(

Agradável e sem qualquer reparo... Apenas entendo que não é simpático termos de pagar o aluguer de toalha...

Quatro noites de estada e avaliação óptima. Atenção e disponibilidade na Recepção, condições de conforto e limpeza excepcionais e bom Pequeno Almoço com simpatia do pessoal. Perto do centro e acesso fácil com autocarro à Madalena.

Un ancien couvent plein de charme, un personnel au petit soin et une chambre sommaire mais avec une vue magnifique sur la mer.

Sicuramente affascinante dormire in un ex convento ma le camere doppie sono piuttosto spartane con bagno un pò vecchio (però c'è il bidet, piuttosto importante per noi italiani). La colazione si fa nel refettorio ed è poco invitante ma comunque c'è tutto (pane, marmellata, formaggio esame, prosciutto, latte, caffè , the , cacao in polvere, corn flakes, succo di arancia confezionato). Non abbiamo provato il wifi perchè presente solo nelle zone comuni. Va più che bene per una o due notti. Parcheggio gratuito davanti all'hotel. Situato a 15 minuti a piedi dal porto di Sao Roque

Wir hatten ein Zimmer für zwei Personen mit eigenem Bad. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren gut und sehr sauber. Das Gebäude - ein ehemaliges Kloster - ist etwas Besonderes und hat uns gefallen. Einzig das Frühstück war nicht so gut (kein frisches Obst, Kaffee nicht wirklich heiß, nicht so guter Käse wie anderswo) - da hatten wir in billigeren Unterkünften auf den Azoren eine bessere Qualität.

Das Hostel ist ein altes Kloster, man sollte also keine moderne Unterkunft erwarten. Ausserdem hat das alte Kloster auch einen gewissen Charm und eine sehr gute Lage. Es gibt aber alles, was man benötigt: - WLAN, Aufenthaltsraum mt PC und Fernseher, genügend Duschen mit Warmwasser und einige Toiletten und Waschbecken - es gibt also keine Staubildung bei der Morgentoilette ;) Es sind auch mehr als genug Parkplätze verfügbar. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr ausgibig. Wenn man möchte kann man auch eine große Küche verwenden. Das Personal ist super nett und gibt auch Tipps zur Planung von verschiedensten Unternehmungen und beantwortet auch gerne weitere Fragen. Check-In und Check-Out hat problemlos funktioniert

Je recommande cet endroit. Très bien placé. Très propre. Beaucoup de charme. Accueil très agréable.rapport qualité prix excellent.
