Porto Spot Hostel

I stayed there for 2 nights in a Mix Room. 1 night some girl brought another stranger men to our shared room, they were making a lot of noise. They shared their single small Bunk bed and they were on top of the bunk bed. Every tiny movement they make, you can hear so there were A Lot of noise. It was a horrible and UNsafe, UNpleasant and traumatizing experience. The hostel staff told the stranger to leave in the morning at 9am after they did their thingz. The staff of the Hostel should be strict about the visitor and can’t let this happen. Especially at night time: don’t let anyone bringing a stranger/ visitor. Because of this, I don’t recommend. But good breakfast tho

Useful place. Clean and good service

It's close to main Street, staff friendly and professional, rooms, bed very comfortable, breakfast is included, kitchen is large and good equipped. Overall very good 💯

Modern feel, great simple breakfast, staff were really kind, good safe storage for luggage. Main downfall was showers were often freezing!

The location was very good, just up the hill from the Bolhau Metro Station, and the historical center. The rooms were nice, bathrooms and showers very ample, and the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Ana who was so sweet! The breakfast was good, and an added bonus that I forgot about.

Great space. Super clean. Excellent staff. I'll be back!

We enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. Aside from amazing friendly staff, the he hostel was impeccably clean and the atmosphere was astounding. You can tell they really care about their guests and the experience they have while staying with there. Everyone I met enjoyed their stay as well. I would gladly recommend to anyone and/or stay at Porto Spot again!

Tenía mucho sin quedarme en hostales, pero todo estaba ocupado en la ciudad, así que opté por este porque las recomendaciones eran buenas. El servicio de los chicos de recepción es bueno, son gente cálida y te dan la bienvenida muy chévere, pero como todo hostal, tu experiencia siempre dependerá de los compañeros que te toquen. Lo terrible de mi caso es que me fui infestada de piquetes de bed bugs (ácaros), que estoy terrible en todo el cuerpo. Inicialmente pensé que eran piquetes de mosquito, pero un chico de cuarto fue el que me hizo la observación de que no eran moscos. La verdad es que la estoy pasando fatal. No tienen ascensor y son tres pisos, por si te toca el tercero, tienes que subir con todo y maletas, para que lo tengan en cuenta. Para prender el aire acondicionado del cuarto tenéis que pedir el control en recepción y bajarlo una vez encendido (si te toca en el 3er piso, bueno, ya sabes la subida y bajada cada que necesites prender o apagar el aire). Particularmente el de nuestro cuarto goteaba y nos dijeron que no había nadie de mantenimiento, nos dieron 2 toallas para poner debajo del aire que permanecían húmedas todo el tiempo porque nunca las cambiaban, a pesar de que les pedía toallas nuevas y de que hacían el aseo en la habitación. Creo que a pesar de que yo tuve suerte con mis roomies, porque era todos majos, el tema de los insectos de camas me tiene súper decepcionada, porque sigo arrastrando los malestares y honestamente no le desearía esto a nadie.

Very clean and safe, short walk from airport metro line. 10 minute walk to downtown tourist spots. Close to numerous shops and restaurants. Provided a simple (bread, meat, cheese, fruit) but ample breakfast. Comfortable common area.

Very clean, comfortable and the staff is super helpful, great stay

The hostel is lovely with a lot of natural light and and a really nice common area with a large kitchen and a beautiful outdoor area, which allows for people to socialise and chat with each other. The staff are all super helpful and extremely friendly, and the room was really nice. I got a free upgrade to a private room because of an issue with overbooking, so this was a really nice gesture from the part of the hostel :) The location is a little bit further away but it is still very nice. I would really recommend for anyone to stay here, I absolutely loved it! <3

Very very nice! The atmosphere, the breakfast, the comfy bed. Everything. Also the spatious shower where u had room to change so u didn’t have to undress with everyone else (yes I’ve seen that in other hostels).
