The hotel has a good location (walking distance to seven eleven and a variety of great restaurants), and the rooms are well maintained. We were also able to store our luggage before checking in, and avail affordable airport transfers from the hotel. The price was right. Although it does not have breakfast facility, you can go to the adjacent Ibis for a reasonably priced buffet breakfast. Our rooms also didn't have that good of a view. And they were reluctant to give any extra water bottles outside the two we received every day (which was an exception in our entire tour). All in all, I will give them 8/10 rating :)
I had a bad experience here. I only stayed in Bangkok for one night. They let me sleep in a room on the 5th floor, next to the water pump. In the middle of the night the water pump started working with extremely loud noise even though I had closed the doors of the room. They informed them at 2am. Because this noise is not continuous, when the security guard checked he concluded that there was nothing abnormal. I try to wear headphones to sleep. At 4 am, the water pump works with high intensity and is more noisy. I report them again. At this point they moved me to another room at midnight. He let me handle my luggage alone without a stroller or any assistance. And of course the noise in this new room remained the same. I had a sleepless night. And had to check out at 7am with no apology or explanation. Stay at this hotel if you want to stay up all night.
