The staff were absolutely excellent. The only disappointment was no bar in the hotel. My fault fornot reading the details properly but I have never known a hotel at this level to not have a bar or allow drinking alcohol by the pool or in reception.
They decorated the room for my girlfriends birthday without me even telling them and the porters were very helpful as well

Its in a good area near the shopping malls. We were staying at the hotel when the earthquake happened. The hotel dining remained open. The concierge was so helpful to find a ride to the airport if not for the concierge we coule have missed our flight.
