Tower Club at lebua

Incredible place, views superb, staff superb, room superb. Bring a full wallet though, it’s very expensive to eat and drink here in comparison to the city and not a lot going on in the surrounding streets. If you’re wondering out try Jacks for authentic Thai food on the river. Very basic compared to the hotel but brilliant.

The hotel is decent enough; the bed is not very comfortable, but the room is clean. The buffet breakfast is very good. What I hated, because it was too expensive—more than in New York—were the drinks on the rooftop! A regular drink, rum and coke, was the equivalent of USD $30! And they don't serve beer on the rooftop! Definitely, extremely expensive!!!

I stayed in this hotel as a treat to end an amazing 3 weeks in Thailand for my birthday. On arrival you are greeted very personally by the reception staff. The hotel requires a large deposit. You’ll need a credit card. This hotel is iconic and has a grandeur about it. The staff you meet around the hotel are very lovely and friendly. The rooms are good and have really nice facilities but like the outside of the hotel, they are a little bit tired. They are high end, but more classic, not modern. The biggest wow factor for the room is the views. They are spectacular. The pool itself never seemed to get sunlight, maybe early in the day. But the sun lounger area did get a good amount of sun in the afternoon while I was there. I’m sure this changes by season. Food and drink as you can imagine at this kind of hotel is very expensive and incomparable to outside prices. The Sky Bar is definitely worth a visit for one drink. The club lounge was a major perk to the booking. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The snacks were great, especially at lunch time. The guest services and management team really did go out of their way to make me feel very welcome and when I had an issue they did everything they could do resolve this swiftly. They also made some special touches for my birthday which I will never forget. So thank you for an amazing stay. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

We arrived the afternoon of the earthquake and nearby Myanmar. Along with all other people, we stayed on the street and waited for the hotel to be inspected. Upon the all clear we checked in and received none of our welcome gifts but understandable under the situation We had paid for the Club lounge which did not open that night and was not offered any compensation. Upon checking out after our three nights stay we were handed a bill of AU$250 for four drinks which we had. When I explained that there were parts of our stay that had been overlooked and asked for perhaps a discount considering we had not had access to the Club lounge and nor did we receive any of our check in benefits, I was told there was nothing they would do or could do. I feel that everyone suffered but the hotel profited and used the situation to their advantage. Very disappointed. I have now seen photographs of the premises and in my opinion was unsafe and it should not have reopened after the earthquake.

Staff were are happy and great at their jobs. Hotel is in a great position, lots of great stuff going on, easy to get transport, great stay thank you really fun time

Staff was awesome - location perfect. Room was HUGE and luxurious - I loved the complimentary breakfast!! Amazing rooftop for evening views, music and cocktails. Concierge was so super helpful - I love this place. My second visit there.

The staff and service were amazing

Staff using the public lifts delayed us using them. Had to wait quite a lot for lifts.

Our stay was ok. Good points: were the friendliness of the waiting staff. Sky bar was impressive. Breakfast buffet was good. Bad points: Tower suite rooms were average. We didn’t get the room we booked and were kept waiting nearly 2 hours to check in and get our room. Reception and guest service staff seemed to forget about us and simply allocated us a room without telling us. This tainted our check in experience; we received an apology but it didn’t seem genuine. Overall the hotel is nice but we probably wouldn’t recommend it.

Fantastic place. Service is good and great food

Overall our stay at Lebua was good. The view from our room was amazing and the staff was friendly. However, everything else left my wife and wanting more. The facilities are definitely outdated, but seems they are doing renovations like their spa. The breakfast included at both restaurants was the worst I’ve ever had in Thailand. I think for the room price, they should take a second look at their offerings to make sure they meet high standards. The bars are cool, but most had very similar offerings at exuberant prices. Almost every drink was $50 with service and tax included. I think at those prices we just got a little price fatigue for a staycation at Lebua. I would definitely come back for the sky bar, but it’s difficult to go to dinner and hit a few bars and spend upwards of $500 per night. I think there is better value to be found in Bangkok.

Incredible views, food was amazing, in room dining is world class

The hotel looks really good. The restaurants and bars are amazing, if you're willing to pay $1000 for a Michelin 2 star meal. The hotel felt like all of the money went into the restaurants and bars and the rooms were an afterthought. The beds *are not comfortable*. The walls are paper thin. My husband got food poisoning at the Tower Club. Communication between staff was non-existant. The hotel is fine, but it is not a 5 star experience.
