Amazing place in the city all went great just few points for improvement
- room service and restaurant to have a bar with pool
- spa closes at 5 pm so after a day of activities u will need to source outside
Nothing major but that above would ensure more time spent
. Oh yes planes fly by a few times do if ur a light sleeper wear plugs

My husband and I absolutely loved this hotel. The entrance is beautiful and welcoming. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. It’s a lush oasis with a great pool and tropical plants surrounding it. We loved our room with a balcony overlooking the pool. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a strong shower. It was kept clean and was made up daily. We loved the choice of food and drinks at breakfast. Staff go over and beyond to help you. I highly recommend this lovely hotel.

We loved that the property felt like an escape in busy Chiang Mai, you step into Yantasari and it’s a lovely garden oasis. There is some airplane noise, but it didn’t bother us. Everyone was tremendously kind and helpful. The pool is beautiful and refreshing. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had both tub and shower. We had 2 hour massages our last day, at the hotel, which was a marvelous way to wrap up an all-too-brief visit to Chiang Mai. We would stay here again.

We ended up adding an additional 2 nights stay here becuase we loved it so much! Central to loads of good restaurants, shopping and near to a freeway for easy access to tour groups! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

An oasis of green in the Nimman area. Nice hotel design with rooms looking onto central garden area and pool. Rooms well maintained while preserving some of the old wood furniture, doors, etc. Renovated bathrooms. A few small problems: soap in shower only (though good not to be in disposable bottles), water temperature hard to get right (though plenty of pressure), wifi sometimes slow.

Tropical garden setting, large comfortable balconies. Breakfast is a great start of the day. All staff at hotel are very attentive, friendly and welcoming. Perfect location in secluded side street near malls, restaurants and shops. Will stay again and highly recommend this resort.

This was my second stay at Yantarasri. I originally chose this hotel for its location (near my son's girlfriend's wine bar (Wine Lover by Pao - check it out if you're in the area). I returned for the same reason but also because I enjoyed my first stay. The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful (one even remembered me from my visit of 10 months earlier!). The breakfast is good. The only complaint I had this trip was that they were working on updating / remodeling one section of the hotel and thus there was construction noise that started a bit early in the day - understandable because that's the cooler part of the day but disturbing for a late sleep. Beautiful grounds. Pool was a bit chilly but refreshing for a quick swim. Last trip I had booked directly with the resort and that gave me the opportunity to book round-trip transportation to/from the airport.

Excellent... staff are wonderful, very personal, they always remembered my breakfast choices from the day before and prepared my table with my preferred items. Not even 5 star hotels do that! Very cute resort with traditional teak wood and lovely gardens - most staff spoke perfect English! I would go back for sure. Location in Nimmam couldn't be better as coffee shops, bars and boutique shops are at doorsteps.

Mosquitos were really bad (hence overall disappointing review) otherwise decent value for money if you have a lot of bug spray on overnight! prob better to stay closer to the center of the city but liked the 'student' area in general. Taxi's generally charge you a bit more money to get back to the hotel once you are in the main area of the city. Lots of good cafes/food nearby.
