Hampton Inn and Suites Rohnert Park - Sonoma County

We stayed at this location one other time years ago and it was so much better. We had multiple complaints, problems, this trip. At check in, we found out the parking is $7. a night. We were there 3 nights and I was only able to get a handicapped parking place 2 nights. The rooms were supposed to be cleaned every other day. On the second morning, we stopped at the desk to make sure our room was to be cleaned. We need towels, etc. She said yes, but she would make sure by putting us on the schedule. After a long day out, we came back to an unmade room. My husband had to go back down to the lobby and get towels himself. This is not a cheap room, but you would think so based on the service. Breakfast is very poor compared to the last time, and certainly compared to the Fairfield Inn close by. That hotel was full so that is why we tried Hampton Inn again. The bed and pillows were good, but I cannot rave about anything else. Oh, BTW, if you do want to eat there, don't be late. It is over at 9am during the week, and the woman there stands by the door and closes it promptly. She does not even warn anyone in case they want a refill .

Property is great but slipping in a $7.00 dollar a night parking fee is so criminal. Really sad because we liked staying here and family was just discussing when we return to stay here again but upon check out you lost a customer for life with your crumb snatching parking fee…

Comfortable, quiet and safe hotel

The hotel was close to the casino where our event was, so this was super convenient and the room was super nice. Loved the size, cleanliness, it was quiet and I liked it had a microwave, fridge, closet with extra supplies. I would definitely go back.

Perfect for a quick trip to visit family in the area! Staff were incredibly nice, and we had a great time in the pool!

Friendly staff

The property itself is clean and conveniently located. A major disappointment was that the rooms have hardwood floors and the noise was horrendous because of the guests walking around. There was a constant thumping sound which was extremely annoying. I suggest the owners place carpeting or much better insulation between floors. Also, the free breakfast was decent, but I was told to go into the gym if I wanted water. I suggest placing a a couple of spa water glass containers in the dining room. It would add convenience and a touch of class.
