The Luxor's best days are behind it. Aged, Smokey interior's define this once great hotel. It's apparent that they're content with not renovating their elevators in order to save money. With that being said, the one saving grace of this place is it's staff. Professional, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to assist in any circumstances.

The hotel line was extremely long during check-in. There should be a better process for checking into the hotel. Our A/C did not get cold at all as we continued to adjust the temperature, and nothing worked. We stayed at the hotel for one night, but it was very humid in the room.

The Luxor is a great place to stay with easy parking, close proximity to the airport and the Strip. The rooms are spacious, quiet and the hotel is easy to navigate around. The pool is great and you can find food and drinks easily.
It is a somehow dated hotel and it shows with the rooms needing some upgrade, mostly the bathroom (our shower wasn't draining properly).
The maid service is minimal and the rooms could be cleaner. The maids are throwing the pillows and cover linnen on the floor while they change the linnens and clean the roooms. Not great. Our in-room safe wasn't working and the staff did not address this during our stay.
All in all, we would visit again, but not for any extended stay.

The wait at the check in was completely ridiculous. Such a long line with only 2 people checking people in. So manh staff walked through there without jumping on a register to help, including what I assume are managers due to them wearing blazers. Got to our room and it was fine but then we realized we had to RENT A MINI-FRIDGE. The soap in the room smells terrible. We only had 2 towels and a hand towel. That is unreal for the price we had to pay due to it being wrestlemania weekend. My family already said we would never stay here again.

I liked the look of the hotel, the convenience of bathrooms and elevators/escalators (when they were working) I didn't appreciate booking a specific room through Expedia only to be given a different room, which I refused to accept and had to be roomed in a different part of the hotel. That was frustrating after a long flight and late night. There seemed to be amazing pools and restaurants, however we didn't get to try any of them because of the crazy days/hours of operation - only Thur-Sun, really??? My party had to leave the hotel for food and a bar to hang out in. The one good place to eat for breakfast "Pyramid Cafe", truly impressive, very good service and great food - couldn't see paying Starbucks prices. Diablo's Cantina was average mexican food, good drinks as well - they ran out of dinner/dessert specials by 7pm, that was a little disappointing.
