Very clean

The best I can say is that the room was clean and quiet. I did not like getting hit with a $100 deposit that I knew nothing about. (I have never paid a deposit on a motel room and don't want to start a tradition)The "breakfast" sucked. It was essentially non-existent. The toilet did not shut off--I had to close the valve at the wall to stop it. (This is amazing since I had to pay a $100 deposit to access the room.) The faucet for the sink was ridiculous. The shower was better but not what I would like. I imagine that they are trying to reduce water use but this was too far. Finally, (a small thing) didn't care for the wood floor instead of carpet, although this is very trendy.

OK and according to what I would expect

The property has been remodeled so thats nice. The breakfast sucks and doesnt even qualify as a breakfast.

Location is convenient. Low water pressure in the bathroom sink, never got warm. Breakfast is grab and go. Not too nutritious. The building needs a complete remodel. The landing and ateps ti the aecond floor are very rust. There is nocement ramp leading up to the back, first floor door. No safe, convenient parking for the back rooms. Fair for a one night stay. They do allow dogs in some of the rooms, a plus.

There’s an additional $100 deposit. It will be refunded in 3-5 business days.

Was illegally refused to let my service dog allowed in room without a pet deposit, and they add $200 fee along with the $75 price..

When we got our room, the commode was broken. We then got transferred to another room. The room was fine, but we could not set the clock, because the minutes button was broken. Other than that, it was ok. There is no dining room to sit.

Smelled. Bugs on the floor. Toilet did not flush. The office takes $100 for incidental out of your account and it takes up to five days to reimburse.

Old. Outdated. No water pressure. A/C wasn’t on when we arrived and it was hot. So took a long time to cool off.

Vicky was very nice and we were served very well and she was very professional, smiled and was kind..... Improvement: please get NFC access machines to enable quick payment

Oddly enough the hotel had no power. Or somehow half of it did? I was too tired to put up much complaint about it or to find another hotel. The lights and TV worked in my room but the light in the bathroom and the air conditioner did not. So we had to poop and shower in the dark, and while the temperature was tolerable the lack of ambient noise from thr AC meant my friend didn’t sleep at all. This may have been an odd one-time catastrophe that happened, but I didn’t like that there was no effort by staff to acknowledge or apologize for the extreme inconvenience or fix the issue at all. I’ve stayed here before many years ago but I don’t remember it being this way. Roof tiles are falling off the main building. And there was a rather loud person yelling crude commentary from her room at 6am for all to hear.

When attempting to check in there were homeless people wandering around in the parking lot. Then the lady at the counter said I had to pay a $200-$300 deposit. Finally she said my credit card was declined even thought I had used it to buy fuel less than an hour earlier and rented a vehicle with the same card 5 hours earlier. I informed her the card had been working and she curtly said without a form of payment she wouldn’t do anything to get me a room. I went back out to the car, found a near by hotel, reserved a room (with the same credit card) and checked in there instead. No security deposit, No homeless, no snarky staff and they processed my credit card payment correctly. Avoid the Days Inn, go to Stone Hill Hotel instead.
