I went for my birthday. The walk to downtown was not long at all. Staff was sweet.

The Modern was cute, clean, and convenient. The staff was nice and welcoming. Located in downtown Boise, so everything you need is in walking distance. I will definitely be booking my next stay there again.

This is a fun, independent, hip hotel. It is in the up and coming Linen District.

The location is perfect, the room is clean, comfortable. Now, the staff is the best part: they are kind, polite and extremely professional! I recommend and would stay again at Modern Hotel for sure!

Great design

We loved our stay here. I travel a lot for work and appreciate when a hotel has solid insulation between rooms. For once I did not hear every single thing my neighbors were saying and my husband and I slept like rocks. It's dog friendly so we definitely plan to bring our pup next time. I love the cute bar and my local friends said they have amazing food, though we only ate the relatively light breakfast they provide. I enjoyed staying at a smaller, locally owned, hotel. Close to everything in downtown so you can easily walk to great restaurants and bars. Highly recommend!
