Everything good, just the buffet food needs some improvement

Loved it, we had a great time. The buffet food was okay, but the dinner options were great. I wish the app worked better as well.

Very nice resort. The grounds were lovely. However, I would not call this a 5 star resort. The food was average, not great. The beach and pool were really good. The hotel staff and entertainment crew were friendly and courteous. I expected higher quality, but overall I had a good time at the Bahia Principe Ambar. 8 out of 10 stars

perfect room,very clean

I loved everything. The best is the sea. Wonderful. The options of food were really great. I ate well and drink well also. The service is amazing, all of the employees are friendly, kind and nice. Bahia Luxury Ambar in front of the beach is the best.

It's a nice place

We had an amazing trip at Bahia Principe. We booked a deluxe swim up corner which I highly recommend. It’s bigger than the regular swim ups and our room was so spacious. We liked that we were in an adults only section but had access to most other areas. I was nervous to book at a mega-resort but the golf carts to take you around were plentiful and you usually didn’t have to wait long. We found the nightlife wasn’t incredibly exciting but we did like the silent disco. Food was decent. I found a few things at the buffet that I liked. I recommend Rodizio, Teppanyaki, and the steakhouse MEAT for a la carte dinners. They were great! My one wish is that you could use the swim up pool later than 9 PM. I understand not wanted to disturb the neighbors but considering music from the lobby was blasting until midnight some nights, I think a quiet swim in the pool would be OK

From getting there to being there-the staff couldn't be more welcoming and friendly-Always smiling, and everything is very clean and well maintained. The service was impeccable. The pool entertainment was GREAT! Even during the rain they kept it going! The Grill on the beach was delicious! Definitely a 10 resort.

Our Guest Service associate, Ysael, was outstanding!!! He made our stay most enjoyable!! Also our maid Janet!!! Maura at the beach bar restaurant greeted us every morning!

Great staff - very accommodating- beautiful resort - great selection of food & drinks - constant entertainment. 10/10 rating !!! Highly recommend

Staff of the Hotel is good, the room only have two power outlets so if you dont bring usb charger you have a problem there is no area to use the iron (super inconvinient), in the Lobby they dont let you relax for a second on day time since everybody is chasing you to sell you something they try to trick you with, in the beach area the people around selling you activities they tell and show you something then when you get there is horrible including the people that work with them, as soon as you do that check out the service become lame too just because you wont spend any more money. Honestly I wouldnt spend all that money for a pool that dont have even a jacuzzi and closes at 6pm plus the pool in my balcony after 9 is also closed (not worth it. With half the price I spent I could have been in Cancun wayyy better experience.

Other than some grumpy staff members, we had a great stay.

Overall clean. Needs repairs. Staff was ok. Not overly helpful or friendly- bare minimum but certainly not rude. Advertised as luxury but I wouldn’t consider luxury compared to the luxury places I’ve stayed before. Overall done. Couldn’t get really any reservations for dinner. Not many alternatives for dietary intolerances. You can’t see the ocean from the pool- you have to specifically go to ocean. Beautiful beach. Overall lobby and buildings need updating.

This was a great place to stay and relax! Very clean, comfortable, and convenient! Would recommend staying and we will be returning for another stay!
