It’s a place to sleep only. Internet barely worked in my room. YouTube worked on tv which was a huge plus. You can definetely get by just fine here. Ear plugs also may help.

Beach vacation

I was in Cartagena to enjoy the city. The hotel was perfect for my solo travel. Don’t expect a top notch room: it had a bed, small table and bathroom. For the price though, it was more than worth it. The surrounding neighborhood was extremely walkable and enjoyable. The Walled City was about three miles away. I’d definitely stay here again.

Wanted to charge me additional fees But after I told them it was not right. They decided to make it ok!

We didn’t like nothing : the building, the room, old and dirty, reception to small…..

My room had nothing to do with the pictures online. The room was more like a prisión cell, extremely small, the sink was literally beneath the shower. The room had a strong smell that was causing me allergies. Surroundings felt extremely unsafe

The hotel is in bad shape. Our bathroom did not have a shower head, tiles are cracked and broken. Rooms are small and uncomfortable, old mattresses. Just not nice. Most rooms don’t have a window to the outside, only to the hallway. It’s noisy all hours of the night. Breakfast is filling, but not very good. Quite expensive for such a poor quality hotel. I don’t recommend staying here.

It was nice for the price

It is an affordable hotel, the staff was friendly, good breakfast, and perfect location two blocks from the beach. There are different restaurants around. The room was not very big, but we were not much time at the hotel. Our idea was to get know Cartagena instead of being at the hotel.

Easy access to downtown but could use some renovation. Very small, decent for sleep & shower rooms. Breakfast was good.

I like the fact that it was two blocks from the beach.

The hotel was in a great location walking distance from the beach, close to many eateries and shopping. The room itself did NOT have a mirror in the bathroom and the walls are very thin. The room desk did not have a chair, so I politely requested one and brought it up the stairs myself. The staff was very young. On a bright note, the breakfast was adequate with a nice view of the busy avenue.

this is definitely a 2 star facility. the water in the shower gets lukewarm at best, I didn't really mind since it was so scorching hot outside. what really disappointed me is the walls are horribly thin. a few nights I heard drunken men in the hallway until the wee hours, other days children were screaming or housekeeping would be shouting. it was so bad I checked into another hotel for a nice to get some sleep. the room was like a sardine box without a window but again that didn't bother me. the breakfast was subpar, but since it was included I had it 3 of my 5 days, eggs or ham & cheese, toast, fruit and juice/coffee. I also tried to nap one afternoon since I didn't get much sleep during the night due to the drunkards and housekeeping woke me up beating on my door wanting to clean my room. this bothered me since I hadn't turned my key into the desk they knew I was in the room for whatever reason. next time I am definitely spending 5 times as much as staying the entire time at the hyatt.
