Mantra Hindmarsh Square Adelaide

Our apartment room suited our needs. Very comforable stay in a convenient location for our short break away before travelling home.

Our stay was decent, but I found the staff to be quite unhelpful. I had to manage all our luggage on my own since my husband was dropping off our rental car. The staff simply watched as I loaded everything onto the trolley, despite having a lot to carry. Thankfully, a worker who was fixing the lifts offered assistance and helped me get the trolley inside. We were also disturbed early in the morning by a fire alarm that required everyone to go downstairs. While I understand this wasn't the hotel's fault, it did disrupt our sleep significantly. As we returned to our rooms, the staff barely interacted with us. When I returned our key, the receptionist was on the phone; even so, a simple acknowledgment or a farewell gesture would have been appreciated.

Spacious 2 bedroom suite, great view onto Hindmarsh Square. Located close to restaurants. Very central for galleries too.

Great lack of electrical plug-ins. Phone charging port on bedroom lamp base didn’t work. Couldn’t close bedroom door without moving the bed. Shower door is so low that is pushes the bath mat out of the way when you get out of the shower

Breakfast was basic , food was not warm . Need more choices ..... cold meat , omelette . Coffee machine was poor , water not hot to make tea . Staff were good . Thankful we were given a room upgrade , as the original room window outlook was poor , looking at a carpark & laneway .... not great for a 4 day stay . Bed too small .

Our room was fantastic. Very clean but also spacious. Mantra Hindmarsh square was an excellent hotel for our family holiday.
