Great experience at Rydges. Due to delays with our room being ready, reception staff were wonderful to deal with and upgraded us to two adjoining rooms. The daily buffet breakfast was fantastic and the proximity to everything in Sydney was also great. Would definitely recommend!

Spacious room and great location ! There is a coles supermarket downstairs which is makes it easier if you need to buy any essentials. Also there are a lot of nearby restaurants, public transport such as train is just 5 min walk and bus stop is around the corner. Overall really a good place to stay in the city area.

The hotel was very nice. Moreover, we were pleasantly surprised to find the immense shopping center below the hotel. 3 floors of shopping and eating...which we did... One weird thing however, is the bathroom showers....No way to keep the floors dry with the design of the curb free showers. we used every towel, every day just to keep the floor dry. We were worried about slipping on the slick tile after it got wet. To be fair, our hotel in Melbourne was the same...so perhaps an Australia thing?? BUT, that weird detail did not stop us from loving the location, the room, and the excellent sleep we had in the super comfy beds. Price wise the per night rate was reasonable. Don't sign up for the breakfast however...very expensive...You can eat at hundreds of other places within walking distance.

We loved many things about this hotel. The location can’t be beat. There was easy access to different transportation modes; we took the light rail, train, metro, ferry, and the bus. There are a multitude of great restaurants all around. There is a shopping mall, including a grocery store, within the World Square complex. The room was spacious and clean. There wasn’t a dresser in the room, so we made use of every drawer (bedside, desk). It worked out. We opted for the breakfast everyday, and we were glad that we did. There were made-to-order poached eggs, muesli, pancakes, sausages, fresh fruit, baked beans, to name a few. The employees, from the manager on down, were extremely efficient and friendly. We saw tables cleared, food and dishes replaced right away. This was no easy feat, as it got very busy at times, especially with the multitudes of flight attendants and pilots. We will recommend this hotel to our friends.

Very convenient to everything, parks, Opera House, Chinatown, shops, grocery. Safe area, walkable and busy. We had everything we needed at the hotel. Beds were comfy, room was quiet and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed at the Rydges and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the concierge team was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. The room itself was spotless. It was notably clean and had a lovely fresh scent upon entry, which is always a great first impression. The location is hard to beat. It’s situated in a prime spot, and it was a very easy walking distance to public transport, making it simple to get around and explore the city.
