What Guests Say About Their Stay

I loved staying here. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, the breakfast was good, and the rooms clean. Parking was a little confusing (you need to reserve it ahead of time if you need it), but we used a nearby parking garage for an affordable rate, and used the public transit the whole time we were in Vienna. I would stay here again! Also loved how quiet it was in the evening and early morning.

Had a great stay here. We got assigned to a ground floor apartment down the street and it was excellent. Close to the tram and Eurospar supermarket one block away. The room itself was nice and spacious with a separate bedroom area. Definitely would stay again.

I liked the quaintness of this establishment. The hotel staff were very polite and knowledgeable. I don't really have anything to compare this to except two other establishments in Piding and Budapest that came later. I would say it was better than both of those places I stayed at.

We had a comfortable stay. Though the heater in one room didn't seem to be working properly, we were only staying for a short while so we didn't report it. But over all we had a nice stay since the rooms were spacious and kitchen was well equipped. There were also 2 sinks in the bathroom which was great since we were 6 :)

My mother uses a wheelchair and I asked if a ground floor would be possible. The front desk said ground flood was sold out, but the 2nd floor wasn’t too many steps and should be ok. Except this is Europe and the 2nd floor is really the 3rd floor! 44 stairs, this is what they thought would be ok for a woman in a wheelchair!

I booked and paid for the apartment with 2 bedrooms, on the pictures apartment looked nice and recently renovated. Instead I got a shabby apartment with only one bedroom that had nothing in common with pictures from the web-site. The management of the hotel acknowledged that something went wrong with the booking, but they said that mistake happened on Expedia side. They refused to provide us another apartment or make any discount for caused inconveniences. Representative of Expedia whom I contacted said that mistake happened on the hotel side but she was also wasn’t able to deal with the management of the hotel regarding another room or compensation. As a result – we had to stay in one bedroom apartment with 5 people. That was not the level of privacy that we booked, paid and expected. The last but not least – amenities condition. The shower cabin was leaking all the time – so we had to wipe the floor each time after taking a shower. I informed the reception about the problem, they promised to fix it but nothing was done to resolve the issue.

A terrible break! We could not rest at all from 11am to 5pm trying to fix the problem of the normal hotel payment and from 4am to 5am to clean it the apartament. I hope other people do not get hurt with this hotel. And Expedia to give correct information to a clients not to change the price in the last moment. In less than 14 hours in this hotel , we received a lot of headaches.

Conveniently located near the 58 tram route and Unter St. Veit metro, this hotel is functional with spacious rooms including corner bath. The staff are very helpful and speak both German and English and the breakfast (9 euro per head per day) is plentiful and varied. The city centre can be easily reached via the public transport system and Uber works fine if you have roaming on your phone. Schoenbrunn Palace is walkable and there are delightful bars nearby which are somewhat cheaper than the city centre.

Was a bit more of a hike than i expected from the train station when I arrived at night from Vienna, but that was my fault for skimping on a tram ride. Otherwise a short pleasant walk to both tram and subway stations. Easy to take the subway to the city centre and only 2 stops from Schonbrunn Palace. Had no complaints about the room (except there wasn't a power socket at the bedside), was toasty in winter but can see how it might be too hot in summer as others have mentioned. Cheap restaurant (Restaurant Klimt) just outside front door, open till 2am. Hotel price was very reasonable even as a solo traveller staying in a double room. Would recommend.

Pros: - The room was very nice. Our two bedroom apartment was well equipped, very clean, and comfortable. - The posted price was great! - The apartment was right down the street from the embassy that we needed to be at early in the morning. Cons: - The 35 Euro cleaning fee was a bit of a shock. I did read about it in the fine print before booking but it seemed a bit steep for a one night stay. We were barely in the room. We simply slept there and left early in the morning. So yes, the cleaning fee seemed a bit much for how much we used the apartment. - The building (outside and hallway) is old and dirty. - The apartments are down the street from where you check in. - At both check in and check out I was met with less than friendly help. In fact, at check out, not one word was spoken to me. I found this odd. The young lady simply took the key and turned back around, completely ignoring me. Yes, there were some cons to staying at this place, however, the cons do not outweigh the pros. The apartment was very nice on the inside and the price was amazing compared to other options. I only wish we had been staying longer so that we could have fully enjoyed using the apartment and so that we could have got our money's worth out of the cleaning fee.
