Villas at Playa de Coco

Absolutely amazing! Already planning my next stay .

The reality of this property is even better than pictures and description offer. The beachfront is truly lovely and the grounds are very well maintained. It seemed that all of the people working at the resort really enjoyed their jobs, and they were all so eager to help and make our stay excellent. I thought it would be awkward to share common spaces with others, but the shared areas were large and well distributed for groups, and the private rooms offer all the privacy we needed. These villas are such a gem!

I absolutely loved everything about Villas at Playa De Coco! 5/5 stars does not seem like a high enough rating. The airport pickup process was easy to arrange, delicious food, gorgeous property along with a beautiful beach/multiple pools, and the staff are all so nice. Dale, Magdoleno, and Sade helped me tremendously and I will forever be grateful to have met them. I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Villas for helping me welcome in my birthday!

It was a wonderful location with a wonderful staff! I even had a washer/dryer so came home without loads of laundry! My only suggestion would be to offer hot showers- ours was cool at best- my only complaint!!!

Beautiful architecture, stunning, and cleanly manicured beachfront property! But one of the nicest things was that the owner and the staff were so attentive, so nice, and help to make our stay very enjoyable. Many thanks to Mr. Fred, Clifford, Kent, Stephanie and Sadie!

Had a really lovely stay at Villas at Playa de Coco with my family. The accommodation is situated right on the beach so the views were lovely. The staff were incredibly helpful and the rooms were spacious and clean.

We had the most amazing stay here! The staff were most helpful and always willing to help when we had questions.

All the staff are so kind and willing to go out of their way to help you with anything you need. Our room was made up and restocked daily. The restaurant food was delicious. The golf carts and mountain bikes looked brand new. One of the staff made sure we had enough air in the tires. The beachfront location was perfect! We would highly recommend staying here.

The whole place was beautiful. No expense was spared. The private outdoor shower was so cool, the bed and bedding were so comfortable. Loved the entire property and we can NOT say enough about the staff! Everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly and truly went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. I would go back again in a heartbeat.

Great staff, good food, and convenient location

This place is just okay. It is not a resort--it's four apartment buildings with a mediocre restaurant and a 20 minute drive to town. If you think of it like a rental with some amenities rather than a hotel you will be better off. When we arrived, our room was not ready for 85 minutes after check-in time, and it was pouring rain but there was no where for us to go--we literally sheltered inside the tiki bar. The staff seemed to be mostly chatting and not concerned with our room needing to be ready. The concierge doesn't know anything about the local area, they claimed they made a restaurant reservation for us but the restaurant had no record. We booked one tour with them and they didn't quote the price--double what we would have paid online. The space is over designed with tech that breaks a lot--trashcans that you wave your hand over, power curtains. The lighting is generally awful (like a dentist office) and there aren't curtains in the living area so your family is fully on display to anyone at the beach. We stayed in the best room, which is immediately below the restaurant. Every night at 10pm and every morning at 6am we listened as the staff dragged the tables and chairs across the floor. You couldn't drown out the noise with white noise. The place is spacious and the kayaks, etc. are nice. I got an awesome massage, and the family had a good time but there are MUCH better places in the area.

I would say it definitely is overpriced for the food they offer and the fact you have to share space with strangers is not the best. The two ladies at the front desk are very poor customer service, I had to wave a bus down to get myself transported since they just wanted to sit there and look pretty when i asked if they cthelp. Nice beach good drinks good pizza but the actual room was mid, dirty, bed and pillow super uncomfortable

The room was spotless! The view from the room was everything! The room was looking right at the beach! I walked right out of my room straight in the pool! The staff was 5 stars! They always asked about our night. They have where you can book whatever tours you want. I could go on and on about this place! We loved it so much that we're going to stay there again when we go back!

Everything about this hotel was terrific. The service was excellent, the shared kitchen, living room and patio were spacious and spotless. The wifi was fast. Every meal we had at the restaurant was delicious. Highly recommend the lobster and the rum punch. The pool just steps outside our room was private (just for the villa) so never crowded and always convenient. We had a beautiful view of the beach while working or just chilling.
