The worst hotel I have ever stayed. The pictures are misleading and don't present reality not even close. The interior was old and stinky. The guy at the reception was angry every time we approached him even during the check in. The spa center resembleed more lile a sanitarium or an old hospital from the Eastern European block. The breackfast was cooked days ago and served just warmed up including the crepes and omelette, the only good thing were the kind Ukrainian servers at the restaurant

This is the worst “4-star” hotel I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to 2-star and 3-star places which put it to shame. It seems like no maintenance has been done in over 10 years; probably far longer. The doors to some rooms don’t close properly (can be seen from the corridors) and the bathroom door in our room was so terribly hung / warped it could not be locked. There was water damage to the kitchen area and in the bathroom. Our towel rail or something near it was leaking water the entire stay. The bedside lamp was hanging from the wall and was probably an electrical hazard had it been plugged in. The previous guest’s items had been left in the fridge and there was thick layers of dust and motes under the bed and wardrobe. The robes provided were stained, tattered, and with the cord loops torn open. One of them only had half a cord. This was the case with all the replacements provided too. The breakfast selection consisted of a range of cold scrambled eggs, cold bacon, and other foods which should be hot not being so. The rolls and croissants were stale on day one and got worse each morning - I would guess they same ones put out day after day. None of the spa showers had soap in the dispensers and parts of the showers (such as the temperature lever on one) were broken off. At night, the hotel was far too hot. We had the balcony door open every night - not ideal for a ground floor room. There were some positives, but many, many negatives.

Great hotel, and great location not even 10 min walk from the gondola and main attractions. Room was very spacious and tidy, the balcony was the crown jewel as it was looking the mountains and slopes. Very tidy and clean. Staff was very friendly and the amenities were great. Was just missing some cooking pans and cutlery to use the kitchen and the hobs

Good things - pool spa and the yard were excelent, good coffee with breakfast. Bad things - sauna cold during full hotel, not enough sunbeds for guests, food was poor and bad quality, not even water for dinner - you have to pay. Some emplyees were fine, some were rude and not helpfull (poolboy/lifeguard). Also, dinner was supposed to end at 22:00 as written in the hotel guide in the room, but the staff started clearing the food from the restourant. The room was not as described in the booking and we had no foot towell and some toileteries on the first day. The location is OK! I will try to avoid it next time I plan a trip to Bansko.

Better than it looks. Great staff, nice pool and steam room. Breakfast is good. Nearer to Main Street than you might think from looking at map. My room had had a smoker in it and I asked for a different room. Even though hotel was very busy the nice girl at front desk upgraded me to an apartment!

The location was very nice, it was in a quite area and close to the cabin lifts. The rooms cleanliness was very poor, the bed was very uncomfortable, you can feel the mattress springs. The food at breakfast and especially for dinner was not good enough.

The hotel itself and the location are good but there were a few things that we found annoying. The first thing is that the price includes the spa but when you get to the spa, you have to pay extra to use some of there basic things such as the jacuzzi and ping-pong table. The price also includes wifi but you have to pay extra for wifi that actually works. We felt that the rooms weren't maintained very well. We had a couple lights that were burnt out, the shower had a leak and the sound on the TV would only work sometimes. The house keeping were nice but every time they made up the room they never resupplied the soaps for the shower. This resulted in a phone call once a day asking them send soap up to the room.

Staff were very pleasant, think sometimes they found it difficult to understand us but we got there finally, would be nice if breakfast started at 0700, just because the queues for the gondola could be long. We were on the ground floor near reception/bar and it could be noisy throughout the night

Nice reception and bar area, in fact quite elegant. The pool is large and all the usual Spa facilities are available. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main street (Pirin) and in a good location. Only downside was the breakfast (not English) but okay if you like Continental type and eggs. Some days the chef cooks fresh pancakes or waffles in front of you.

Top! Danke dafür!
