We loved our 2 night stay at Auberge Lac Tauraux! Not perfect but definitely more positive than negative. The beds were really hard that we both woke up with really bad back aches to the point my back was having spasms. The walls are also paper thin and you can hear everything. Thankfully we were on the third floor so no one was above us which helped. Staff was very kind and helpful except for a very rude/snobby hostess at the restaurant le Cerf Rouge. Food was actually amazing both at the bistro and the main Resto cerf rouge. We loved the feeling of the whole place, it was warm, rustic and elegant. So many activities and fun things to do. We would definitely love to go back with our children during the summer. Overall it surpassed our expectations and highly recommend it!
PS The drive there is very twisty and up/down so suggested to avoid driving at night.

Très beau, tout parfait, bien réputé mais le prix vient avec (+repas, +consommations, ça monte vite!) et pour vraiment profiter du site c’est mieux de réserver 2 nuits sinon on n’a pas l’impression d’avoir eu le temps de profiter des installations. Ça dépend donc du budget de chacun et de ce que vous voulez pour votre argent.

The place is cool ! The views are amazing ! The nature part all around is absolutely amazing !
The rooms are fine. They could use a deep clean though. It's very dusty. The rest is clean.
We were there during the slow season. The price at that time is fine but I would have had different thoughts about it had we paid full pop.
The restaurant is good.
The front desk staff, the lady wjo welcomed us was perfect but the rest of our interaction for the rest of the sty with the other staff could have been better. People seemed overwhelmed and nit fully aware of what was going on.
The site is amazing ! The rooms are clean enough ! Its mostly good !

Staff very friendly and efficient. Great check in service and all around our stay. Very clean everywhere except the sand at the beach. Nespresso and fridge in room which was great. Pool, sauna and spa were very clean. A few activities on the beach included. Food portions are small, it looks like French cuisine, calorie calculated portions, however great taste and enough to feel full. Staff serving us, made same adjustments on the menu which we requested, just to satisfy our wish, which we found absolutely amazing. I’d go again to auberge du lac Taureau for sure. Thank you.

We stayed 2 nigths, during school break. Overall good stay. Some things were good and others a miss.
The good:
Friendly staff, rooms are cozy, dogs are allowed, outdoors activities are awsome.
The not so good:
Our room was not cleaned at all during our 2 nights stay. The restaurant (buffet style during that week) was totally chaotic, we had to wait in line for about 20 min to get our food . The food was expensive (52 $) for the buffet quality. The bathroom were tiny and need some renovation.
Overall, with the outdoors, we have a good time, but not sure we will be coming back.

Beautiful getaway with lots of winter activ. The outdoor pool, tubs and sauna were incredible and we enjoyed hiking the area and skating on the outdoor pond. All the fear is there for rent if you don’t have the equipment for the activities
