We highly recommend Gîte au Perchoir. We stayed in the room Haute Mere. The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were fabulous. Jeannot is an excellent host and made us feel very welcome.

Malyka and Guillaume who were the temporary hosts were very hospitable and courteous. The location has a nice view of the bay and is a 5 min car ride from the village. I was happy with my choice.

Superb location with outstanding view of the river. Room was immaculate with a recent, tasteful, bathroom renovation. The host was very pleasant and helpful. Accommodated our early ferry departure by serving breakfast at 6:45. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with everything one could want provided. The breakfast table provided an amazing view of the river. We will definitely return if we stay in this area again.

The place is nicely decorated and clean. The location is excellent - minutes drive from town centre with great dining options. Also a short drive to Le Massif skiing resort. The view to the Saint Lawrence river is spectacular. Our host Sylvie was very attentive and helpful (helped us reserve a table at a local restaurant, and provided valuable information about local food shops). And then there was the breakfast! Delicious and plentiful- crepes, local cheese and meats, good coffee. Would love to come back to this spot.

The spot is cozy and a short drive from town’s great restaurants, and from Le Massif ski resort. Very clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful and she’s prepared a fantastic breakfast! Crepes, local cheeses and sausage, great coffee, and all that while enjoying the view of the St Lawrence River. Would be happy to return again.

I can't say enough great things about our stay at Gite Au Perchoir. The owner is so nice and was absolutely wonderful to us and our daughter! The room was super clean and comfortable, the view is amazing, and the breakfast was absolutely incredible! This was such a tranquil and welcoming place to stay on our visit to Quebec!

We had a good experience, however, we were fortunate to have booked the upstairs room with a ceiling fan. We were there in the beginning of July and the temperatures were in the high 90's. We heard the other room did not have a fan and the guests were not pleased. The matron of the house had limited English. We managed fine, but it was helpful that my husband knew some French..

This place was wonderful! We enjoyed 2 nights here. Our room was spacious with a walk out balcony and the bathroom had just been remodeled-like new. We only got to meet Jeanotte during our stay but he was so friendly and a wonderful host. He made 2 delicious breakfasts and our 2 kids enjoyed them very much. The location was peaceful, the room was very nice and comfortable, the view of the river was amazing, and the breakfast was excellent!

Hosts were gracious and hospitable. Excellent breakfast is part of the accommodation. The lodging is located about 2km from the town of Baie St. Paul. We had difficulty finding it the first time but after no problem. Quiet and beautiful area.
