Ann and Dan have an incredibly clean, welcoming and comfortable home to share with travellers! The backyard overlooks a ravine and their bird-feeder was always busy with several species. I might have to change my route back home to stay again! Thank you for your comfy bed, compassionate listening and delicious breakfast!

The friendliest couple as your hosts, this small hotel in an incredibly quiet village seems to come from another era. The rooms are small but immaculate and you can see passion in the hospitality business, with the most recently renewed room defined “our last baby”. Splendid! Good conversation and good complimentary breakfast! Merci!

We booked the gite thinking it was closer to Tadoussac and our whale watching trip, but it was a plenty surprise. While basic and shared facilities was at times inconvenient, a sink in the room, and a delightful host in Anne who made up a single bed in a storage room so my 16 year old and I didn’t have to share a bed was beyond the call. She also gave us a fantastic dinner recommendation. One did get the sense that the home has seen better days, but it was perfect for us for a night and not being in touristy Tadoussac was an added bonus.
