+We enjoyed our stay at the Belmont recently while on a weekend trip to Vancouver. Could have asked for a more convenient location as we were able to take in the excellent vibe and ambiance of Granville Street due to the World Cup The hotel was great ! Very clean with extremely helpful staff Well equipped and comfortable. Having lots of restaurants and pubs literally round the corner was amazing. Despite the loud noise outside, the hotel was quiet - at least our room.

First time ever at this property. It’s a small hotel but very cozy, right in the center of Vancouver downtown action. The room was not too big but it was very well decorated. I typically stayed with another chain but I would certainly go back to this property if offered.

While there were some outside factors, it was still overall just not a good experience. Luck of the draw perhaps but the people in the room next to mine were very noisy, Key card stopped working and had to be exchanged at an inconvenient time, and of course there was the not mentioned anywhere until checkout “service fee” which the only explanation “is standard” was very weakly delivered when questioned. Experience just wasn’t as expected, or up to standard as a frequent traveller. I did enjoy the World Cup atmosphere, which is what I was there to experience but the detractors did bring the overall stay down by a notable margin. While I’ll stop shot of not recommending to others I definitely won’t book here again.

I was thoroughly impressed by the immaculate clean room, extremely friendly staff and the quietness of the room plus the ability to make the room dark! If I am back in Vancouver I will definitely be back! Concierge was super friendly from the minute I walked in and the desk staff were both friendly and accommodating! I joined the rewards program too!

Hotel is right downtown on corner of Granville & Nelson. Sound proofing was great we were there during the World Cup ! Small rooms but have everything you need. Comfy bed helpful staff .
