Hotel Les Suites Labelle

A stay with some nice features, but unfortunately dominated by maintenance and hygiene issues. Our toilet flooded TWICE due to a faulty balloon valve, spreading sewage water throughout the room and into the hallway. It was extremely unpleasant and not what you expect from a hotel. The front desk staff and manager were apologetic, but the Sunday night supervisor was dismissive and unhelpful. He could not arrange proper cleaning (did not have key to house keeping cupboard), so I requested another room. We were offered a room treated with an ‘odour’ machine. It smelled strongly of ‘chlorine’ which gave me a headache within minutes. It was clearly unsuitable for an adult or child. The maintenance team were also apologetic, worked on the issues, and cleaned up as best they could—but plumbing problems continued. Even the new room we were finally moved to had a leaking toilet that had to be removed and repaired before use. Positives included comfortable beds, a generous breakfast, a good kitchen, and some friendly front desk staff. The manager approved a late checkout, but reception was not informed, and we were phoned at normal checkout to vacate immediately or be charged extra fees, causing more unnecessary stress. The hotel has potential, but repeated plumbing failures, hygiene issues, and inconsistent handling of guest concerns made this a disappointing stay.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was ok for me too much bread in my opinion but it was delicious. I don't have any complaints, l ask for a late check out and it was giving to us without any problem. Would definitely stay here again.

Great breakfast and good location — you can walk to Old Montreal and Rue Sainte-Catherine. The interior could benefit from an upgrade.

Room smelled super dusty. The shower curtain looked like it as from 20 years ago. And the hallway carpets haven't been cleaned in years.

Staff very helpful & switched us to an equivalent room so we could check in a little bit early. Much appreciated

Parked the car underground and took the metro for sightseeing, $25 per night for parking was absolutely worth it. The property is conveniently located minutes away from the metro station. The room was clean, although a bit small. They had turned the air conditioning off as it was winter season, the heat was adequate, but the windows were closed at all times and that humidified the room, making it feel not so fresh. The breakfast had a lot of variety and the staff was courteous and friendly. Minor inconveniences aside, a great place to stay if you’re in Montreal and want to go sightseeing in the Old Port area.

Very convenient to downtown. Helpful staff. Super clean room with everything we needed. Decent breakfast with croissants and more! The price was great and the parking incredibly convenient. Would definitely stay again.

The room was great, we enjoyed our time there. Seems the carpet on the ground floor and in lifts needs to be chnaged as they were smelling bad. The area outside is full of home less. I will give 5 star for the room and break fast. Had to reduce the rating because of external factors. The front desk was great by the way
