Walnut Beach Resort

We were disappointed we couldn’t get a lake view even though I booked a month in advance. Tiles in bathroom ceiling need to be replaced

It was hard to find transportation if you didn’t want to drive from and to penticton airport. Also didn’t wish to pay small fortune in cab ride. The resort was nice for our family reunion.

The pool and hot tubs are amazing but the resort is tired.Caulkng off the bathtub and old shower nozzle. Would not stay here again if it were not for the pool

Everything was great about this stay, room,kitchenette, gym,pool,pool lighting at night was a nice touch.Beach was nice, Games on the side grass.Only thing that threw us off was the workers making really loud noises while we were still sleeping at 830am.Which we later found out was scaffolding in the restaurant. Our room was 122,very 1st room next to lobby and restaurant and the noise was so loud it woke us up and disturbed our peace so much that we couldn't enjoy the rest of our sleep. Why couldn't that be scheduled for atleast after 9am??

Spacious one bedroom suite with balcony overlooking the lake. Property well maintained. Great location close to walking trail and nearby restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend

beautiful place

Beautiful spot and a nice small resort with it's own beach on Osoyoos Lake. Also very nice lake front views from a pool and hot tubs. Rooms were bright , new and clean. And a very nice little restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay here when in Osoyoos again. Greg Peppler

The hotel is in a good location and the room was pleasant although the room was dated. The two issues I’ve had with the hotel is on the night of our stay we went down with our young daughter for an early dinner and to make most of the happy hour deals but were told there was a private function on and they were unable to serve food or drink until later. We were not notified of this at check in and there were posters everywhere advertising the happy hour deals. The second issue we are currently having is that a security deposit was taken at check in which we were told would be released at checkout, a week later and despite two messages to the hotel which have been ignored we have not received our money back.

Highly recommend! The rooms were incredibly large, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Had a very comfortable stay.

PROS: The location was perfect, driving and walking distance to many wineries and attractions. There was a lovely garden on the grounds. The pool, hot tub and private beach was so nice. CONS: The air conditioner was very noisy, it ran on and off non-stop for 4 days and interrupted our sleep several times. The seating provided in the room, a sofabed/couch and a chair were very uncomfortable, so it was hard to sit and relax in the evening. We went to the restaurant one evening for dinner and did not have a good experience, the staff seemed overwhelmed, they did not greet us, or check up as the meal progressed - there were only 6 tables but it seemed they were rushed off their feet. One of the servers was wearing a bucket hat and Adidas hoodie which we thought was not very professional in that type of setting. We enjoyed the chicken wings and bakes brie, but could not eat the dessert as it was frozen solid. We would book here again, but a lake view - we faced the road this time as they were busy and did not have any lakeview rooms available.

Amazing place

Outdoor hot tub was under repair, but swimming pool was great and the view of the lake!! Unfortunately dining facility was not open (off season ) which we did not know they close for. Far from town but walkable area past residential but too many midges flying around in May.
