Hotel is a bit older, it is starting to show its age scratched furniture, wear spots on carpets, etc. You can tell this was a premier property, just needs to be modernized a bit. I love the architecture inside. Staff were very attentive and welcoming especially to a westerner. I do speak Chinese so the staff really seemed eager to assist me on any of my needs.

Room, bed, bathroom were very nice, definitely would book again. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the robot that delivers orders to the room. The downsides were the wifi was not very good and we had to use cell service instead, and also booked this because the advertise laundry but it is a service and they charge by the piece.

The classic Nanjing hotel which has recently undergone major renovations (opened to the public in 1983), located in the heart of the city, served by two subway lines connecting it to all major sites in the city North-South and East-West. Great food and impeccable service all around.
