This is a very good budget hotel, you get a lot of space for the money. We were two travellers and had a lounge area, with two sofas and a dining table, a kitchenette, bathroom, fully furnished bedroom and balcony. The kitchenette had a fridge, toaster, kettle, oven with a stovetop, cutlery and crockery etc. The rooms were cleaned every other day. The towels didn't seem to be replaced, but I could be wrong. We didn't use the pool area, but it looked good. The wifi worked well, and luckily our room apartment was close enough to pick it up, otherwise it only works in the public areas. The breakfast was good, but it would be more cost-effective to go round Lidl and prepare your own breakfast. It took around 5 mins for the shower to be hot. It's close to the bus route 615 and we never had to wait too long for buses. We would both stay here again.

Unfortunately a big building site next to the pool, which was very noisy during the day, the new building blocks the sun in the pool area so limited area of sunbathing and even that stops by 4 pm , such a shame as before that building site, I can imagine a lovey view of the sea, and the pool area sunny every where. The staff are excellent and the apartment was cleaned every day, good supermarket with in walking distance as was nice beech and restaurants

This is a very basic apartment hotel style accommodation. Pros: Price Clean enough Pool Convenient to grocery store and public transit Cons: NO WiFi in rooms, spotty WiFi in lounge Not a “walkable” location- need to take a bus or car to anything beyond the Lidl grocery store. Really overpriced bar and restaurant with terrible customer service *No eating or drinking your own food at the pool*- this was our biggest complaint, especially given the fact that it’s a self catering hotel and because of the above con. It was overall fine and the price point can’t be beat- but still we’d probably choose somewhere else next time.

The first things that dissatisfied me was that i paid extra money because i request to pay at the Hotel on my arrival. Instead of that they tried to get money from my Visa which i register for warranty. Second thing that i didn't like it was the breakfast which we paid for €6/person. They named it continental consisting of 2 pieces of bread 2 butter 1 marmalade 2 pieces of cheese and 3 pieces of ham. The surrounding environment flowers and trees of the appartment was in a bad condition. The garden of my appartment was full of weeds. The filters of swimming pool wasn't working on daily basis. They were cleaning the pool every 3 days. We paid extra for the air Condition which is unacceptable to pay extra for the a/c. They advertise free WiFi but it was not covering the rooms or swimming pool area except in reception area. The personell was friendly except the lady that was serving the breakfast was in a very bad mood and had an attitude towards customers every day. Hilltop Gardens Hotel will not be a place of choice for spending my holidays again.

Good family-friendly complex, apartment was clean and a good size. Was only used as a base for visiting friends for a couple of days so adequate for my needs. Limited range of food in the bar and wi-fi only in common areas. A bit out of the way if you were staying for a longer stay.

This was a budget hotel that was below budget. Room was very dated with worn out dirty furniture, plaster coming off walls and a distinct smell of damp. The beds were clean but felt damp when you got in. I did speak with reception on the first morning after arriving to air my concerns and she explained these were budget rooms and I could upgrade for 4 euros a night however these rooms were only about 1% better. So we left and changed hotels. This hotel has had good reviews in the past and I booked based on these and thought my expectation had been set to this being a basic hotel but there are just some places even on a very low price that should not be used until even the most general of maintenance is completed. Sorry but not for me.

We were looking for a quiet small family run hotel and this is what we found. It is not glamorous or busy at night, at least in October. This suited us. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The included continental breakfast was good (fruit juice, ham, cheese, jam and toast). Cooked breakfasts and meals were made in the bar. Apartments are modern, simple , and spacious.

Enjoyed stay at Hilltop Gardens, had to change apartment as we were allocated one on the ground floor and our view was blocked by foliage but the staff quickly and efficiently changed our apartment for one on the 1st floor, we had a gorgeous view of the fields and sea and there was a lovely welcome breeze when sat on the balcony, in the morning it was lovely to sit and drink our morning coffee in the shade, and in the late afternoon could top up our tan before the sun went down - the sunsets were lovely. The apartments are well appointed with everything you need for a self-catering holiday if you are on a budget and there is a Llidl supermarket within easy walking distance. The hotel staff were brilliant - if a little overworked ! There only appeared to be one member of staff on duty at any one time, dealing with reception, bar & pool area. The public areas were lovely, nicely decorated and cool, where free wi-fi was available. The pool area was lovely with sunloungers and shades, but would imagine in peak season this getting pretty full. The hotel is a little way out, we hired a car for the full 14 days, which we would recommend as there is so much to see and do on the island. The buses seemed to be quite frequent though. All in all we had a lovely, relaxing holiday.
