There was no food served the evening we arrived but there were plenty of eating places and markets within a short walking distance

It was a fabulous property and well located, all the staff were very friendly and the room was clean and tidy.

This was an interesting property, we visited over the holidays which must be a quiet time because everything was closed, including the restaurant. Once we figured out where to pick up our keys, everything worked out fine. Breakfast is provided by a nearby bakery which worked out fine. The location was very convenient for us so no complaints. I wish we had a chance to see more of the town but nothing was open.

Pro: No key to return. Con: No staff to get more toilet paper.

Hotel is lovely and picturesque. Room lovely and bed very comfortable. I arrived too late to try the restaurant but the lady kindly gave me a glass of wine to sit and enjoy prior to going to bed.

Diagonalkroen Is a little remote if staying for Lego/Lalandia, a 20-min & DKK350 taxi being our only travel option. The motel style rooms near the car park can get very noisy. Otherwise clean, very friendly.

Very nice property, however, never actually saw an y hotel staff on site. The restaurant staff was nice, and they were as accommodating as one might expect, but it still would have been nice to see someone at the front office at some point...

I was not happy that the instructions for check-in stated that you must contact us prior to arrival since we do not have a check-in front desk. There was no email address and no phone number stated along with these instructions. I did find a phone number further down in the documentation. Considering people come from all over the world with different phone plans, I think you need to have an email address to give to people so they do not have to call. Maybe there is one that I missed. I had to call you which meant turning on my telephone roaming service which in cost $16/day. We arrived to find an envelop with my name on it and the access number to the room. Breakfast was included that started at 8:00am but we had to leave at 7:30. I have previously stayed places where if you have to leave prior to breakfast, they will put together a small bagged breakfast for you. This did not happen. During our stay, we never saw a single person associated with the hotel. We arrived at 5:00pm and left at 7:30 the next morning.

We had a beautiful corner room with lovely views There is no obvious reception to ask questions or for more Toiletpaper though. The town is quiet and everyone very friendly. Breakfast was good too Thank you

Great Place.

Great location in the middle of town in the middle of Jutland. Good food. Lovely part of the world at a sensible price. Comfortable room, good parking: close enough to Billund for it to be called an airport hotel to my mind - I'd definitely stay any time I'm flying from there.

Overall it was okay, some minor issues. We got a dirty towel at arrival. Casting doesn't work to the TV. Since there was no staff, it was difficult to ask about stuff, like getting an extra pillow. Smelled like mold in the facilities. The breakfast was nice. During the weekend we also got pastries. Close to shops and Legoland.

Vi havde 1 overnatning på et værelse med eget badeværelse. Værelset var fint, god plads med en lille sofa. Der var mulighed for parkering lige ude foran. Indtjekning foregik ved at der ved ankomst lå en konvolut med værelsesnummer og adgangskode. Morgenmaden var okay, lidt begrænset udvalg og det varme mad kunne godt være holdt bedre varmt. En god pris for overnatningen. Overordnet kan vi anbefale det, og vil booke igen!

Ganske fint. Morgenmaden var også fin, did ikke så stort udvalg. Men fint til prisen. Juicen var god. Hyggelig like kro. Det var ikke nogen i receptionen, men der var en konvolut jeg skulle bruge for at komme ind, så ikke er problem.
